Pros - I LOVED the artifacts. Signed Naismith ball, his original rules of the game, a 1911 Murad tobacco card, several of Mikan's game items, and that's just in one room .... the list goes on and on. This is basically a museum for basketball and no museum can truly do justice to an action-packed game, but they certainly try hard to do it. This is a great way to explore the history of basketball from its inception to today and see a lot more than a bunch of old uniforms. Great history for adults and the kids... more

Sometimes well visiting here, you just wish basketball wasn't born in the tired nasty city of Springfield. But there is nothing you can do about it.
