Gallant Adventures was the highlight of my trip to Alaska, we had the most wonderful time. Pretend your best [and most fun] friend has a boat, and lives in Alaska, and is going to spend five hours taking you around - that's Paul! Owner and tour guide extraordinaire, Paul put everyone at ease and made sure each person had a... More

Our trip with Captain Paul was the highlight of our week in Alaska. He's a really down to earth, fun guy and really genuinely into the tour and making it the best it can be given the circumstances(weather, water conditions) of the day. The trip took us within a few feet of sea lions, sea otters, puffins and, most amazingly,... More

While it was rough that morning on the water the whole thing went without a hitch exceeding all of my expectations. Paul met us as we got off the ship-we took the first tender at 6:30. A brisk walk to his boat and we were busy until we got back at 11. Right up beside seals, sea otters and humpback... More

Paul, the owner, is a high energy guide to the wonders around Sitka. He knows the area exceptionally well, as well as where to find all of the animals (when they are there, of course). During the trip, he provided lots of insightful commentary about the area, the nature and the wildlife. His skill in navigating the waters and understanding... More

We had a stop in Sitka on our week long cruise and decided to book a tour with Paul from Gallant Adventures. We were so glad that we did! Our whale watching tour was the favorite part of the trip for all of us. Paul was so knowledgeable, you can tell that he really loves sharing his beautiful part of... More

Wanted a more private kind of tour than the others we had booked on our Holland America cruise and we scored a major win with Paul of Gallant Adventures. To say it was fun and unique is an understatement. Paul is so personable and knowledgeable about the waters off Sitka. He took us to a private conservation island where we... More

A FANTASTIC four hours with Pauley and whales! On my first visit to Sitka I booked wildlife viewing trips with three different captains on advice from friends and internet searches. Gallant Adventures beat the others by far and provided responsible yet close wildlife viewing of humpbacks, tufted puffins, pigeon guillemots, sea otters and so much more. I highly recommend Pauley... More

We like to go on wildlife adventures. This is simply the best we have EVER been on. We found ourselves in the middle of a pod of humpbacks. Birds of all sorts. Seals and sea lions. You simply could not ask for more. Paul Davis is a wonderful guide. Very simply, I have never been on a wildlife adventure --... More

Our whale watching tour with Paul was the best -- a perfect combination of beautiful weather and a wonderful host! We saw so many humpback whales, sea lions sunning on the buoy, sea otters floating in twisted seaweed, puffins, birds, and a host of other sea life. The boat is small and Paul is an excellent drive, so we were... More
