I am so happy that I found Paul Davis and Gallant Adventure through Trip Advisor! The experience we had was far, far better than any commercial tourist trap! A smaller boat with limited passengers made for an intimate and up close experience. Capt Davis knows the waters of Sitka like the back of his hand! He can take you to... More

Thank you for the review, Toni! It was really nice meeting you and I am so happy that you had a good time! I feel the same wayas you-since I only take a maximum of 6 passengers, I'm able to personalize the tour and also able to go places the larger tour boats can't go. My tour is definitely not... More

We highly, highly recommend the wildlife tour with Gallant Adventures! Paul was very responsive to my inquiries prior to booking and the booking process was quite simple. He is so enthusiastic about Sitka and the local wildlife and it definitely shows during the tour. Because Paul uses a small boat and there were only 6 people on our tour, it... More

This was our first visit to Sitka and the weather was crystal clear. Our party of six from Colorado plus Captain Paul took his boat out had a grand time getting close to whales (and we got very close), sea otters, some rare birds, and other local sites. Captain Paul was pleasant and informative on every aspect of the local... More

Thanks for the review, Mike!! I was really excited about meeting you and seeing Janice & Sam again as it had been a couple of years since they went on a tour with me. It's always nice taking out returning clients and we all know Coloradans are good people! Thanks for taking the time to write me a review and... More

This was an amazing trip. Captain Paul was extremely knowledgable about all of the wildlife and history of the area. Even though it was the offseason we saw a ton of whales and sea lions and beautiful mountains. I'll never forget it. I will do this year after year. Thanks Capt. Paul.

No trip to Sitka, Alaska would be complete without spending time with Captain Paul of Gallant Adventures! Our first trip in 2013 with family was unforgettable, and so we booked another excursion when visiting in September, 2015 with friends. It was an incredible afternoon - lots of sunshine and Sitka Sound was filled with humpbacks - it was unbelievable!! Captain... More

We made our second cruise to Alaska in September. Sitka was our favorite port of the last cruise and we had to be sure we booked another cruise visiting this beautiful little gem. It is such a historic city and is in pristine condition. Last time in Sitka we went sea kayaking. This time, however, I did more research on... More

Found Gallant Adventures online and called to make a reservation. I knew right then that this was gonna be fun cause Paul is a down to earth guy and does a great tour of Sitka. His boat is small and nimble and he knows where to go to see the good sights and find the wildlife. He's fun and knowledgeable... More

We went out with Paul in July and had a great day. Paul is very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the environment. We saw lots of humpbacks, sea otters and puffins and the ride into the caves of Lazaria Island was amazing. Would definitely recommend Paul if you are in Sitka
