We brought our 13 year old and (2) 9 years olds here. They were strapped in safely before even being allowed to climb the stairs. There are 3 levels to try and definitely kept them busy for a couple hours. They even asked to go back the following weekend. There are a few picnic tables for the parents to sit... More

Visited this attraction while touring the Luray caverns (walking distance). The Rope Adventure is a great outdoor activity for kids and adults alike! You have a fantastic array of rope activities to experiment all while you are securely fastened. Must try when in the area!

We happened upon this after visiting the caverns. It was great! The staff were very helpful and encouraging to our children, especially our 13 year old son who was very hesitant about the whole thing. the staff were great with him and he reached the top. He felt so proud of himself afterwards. My daughter who was 10 enjoyed it... More

We have two active boys and wanted them to do something fun before standing in the line for the Caverns. The rope course was a hit! Our 5 yr. old was hesitant at first when he was at the top, but the guide was very helpful and stayed close by, reassuring him that he would be safe. He overcame his... More

After the Luray cavenrs, we thought of giving some fun time to kids and we went for this Rope course. Its quite big and was total fun for all of us. The way u move on those ropes n bars with the help of pulleys is bound to give adrenaline rush to some extent. They follow all the safety rules/regulations... More

I absolutely loved this ropes course. Let me start by saying that I have balance issues!! I didn't do this for fun, I did it to challenge myself and prove to myself (and others) that I could do it. I am 5 years old, so this is not just for kids. You end up being 2 1/2 stories above ground... More

After visiting the caverns and the next door garden maze, we stopped and asked the kids if they wanted to try the ropes course. Our usually skeptical 5 year old screamed yes and the 9 year old seemed enthusiastic and my husband joined them. (I would have, but I was designated to photograph the event!) First of all, the price... More

This was fun for the whole group. The littles in our group (3-5 year olds) started in the small course but in no time most were up with the big kids. We had to have an adult with them but they did great. The course can get crowded later in the day so get there early for the best adventure.

My boys (9 and 6) really got into this on our visit to Luray Caverns - if they are afraid of heights, do not do it - otherwise it is really fun and challenging - I think older kids (maybe 12 and up) might get bored quickly, but elementary age seems perfect - mine stayed on for almost 45 minutes.

This is definitely a must while visiting Luray Caverns. The cost is only 9.00 a person at the ticket window. Reasonable priced and fun for practically any age.
