Great little authentic spot

Live music and a great garlic and cheese appetizer were the highlights of this meal! In town for the Santa Fe Indian Market and this place had a really cool vibe to it.

The Christmas menu special was delicious, and have tried most of them. I still prefer the BBQ Burger on regular menu. Delicious, great service, and best live music in town.

Best place to meet friends for delicious food, fabulous local music and great service. Sunday brunch specials include BBQ Brisket Hash(extra yummy with a side of green), Huevos Rancheros and a nice, spicy Bloody Mary. Lunch runs the gamut from healthy salads to The Mother of All Burgers and a must-try flourless chocolate cake. This past Sunday The Broomdust Quartet... More

Went here with a group of 8 which is not a large group and got put into a room with absolutely no atmosphere, service was slow, bordering on non existent. If it wasn't for the fact that I was with friends I would have left. With bottled beer you had to ask for a glass, it was not offered. Food... More

Great lunch. We each had burgers and fries. The bun was a little too big and dry, But the burger and toppings were perfectly cooked and delicious. Our waitress Ezra was very helpful and made our experience enjoyable. The patio is sweet. We recommend this restaurant. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

As a restaurant, the experiences are dependent upon the waitstaff and who is cooking! but as a people watching attraction this can't be beat. Usually a lively mixture of local characters and awkward tourists.

I don't know if we caught our waitress on a bad day but it's like asking for a smile was too much for her. If the Bar B Que was good I would have given this place another chance but if that is their idea of Bar B Que, they need to come to Texas and reevaluate the food. I... More

For overall BBQ it's pretty good if you like a smoky type of BBQ. Also, they have good healthy side choices which is important to me. The service is inconsistent at times. I've never tasted the other choices except the BBQ choices which to me are good. They also have entertainment which is nice if you're interested on certain nights.

Just got back from New Mexico. One of the many highlights from the trip was to once again dine at Cowgirls. I had planned to have the brisket. The brisket is one of the items you don't want to miss on the menu and I was ready for another helping of that delectable dish. However, as a courtesy to the... More
