Good food and trivia

Dropped in for trivia and were treated to good nachos and spicy tacos. Service was good. Loved the old bar feel. Wine and beer were cold.

A small intimate bar that serves double time as a drinking hole and a waiting room for the nearby Pink Adobe restaurant. We dropped in to have a small meal before heading back to our hotel room. Your table will be served with a bowl of popcorn as you sit down. The kitchen is shared with the fancy Pink Adobe... More

Stopped in Christmas Eve for a holiday cocktail. The bar was packed. Ordered an overpriced cocktail and wine. While taking in the 'ambience ' we wondered when the last time the place was cleaned. This is a Santa Fe institution that could use freshening! Hope the Management takes heed as it was a fun spot.

This place is ideal if you are looking for an off the beaten path bar to have a drink, some exquisite bar food, and relax with friends. The inside is decorated in a very Santa Fe style with eclectic art and varied colors. The food is gourmet bar food at reasonable prices, and despite what seems to be like a... More

Friendly, eclectic classic. Fab drinks the old fashioned way. A few blocks south of the plaza but worth the walk. And the generous pours will require a few more steps to work off on the way back to your hotel.

I have always loved the pink adobe restaurant however have not been to the Pink or its Dragon room bar since the founder Rosalea Murphy’s passing in 2000. Located close to the Oldest House and Mission in the US and a brief trek from the Plaza, the Pink Adobe and its bar - the Dragon Room are tucked away in... More

We had had a large lunch so that dinner was not a consideration. The three of us decided to visit the Dragon Room for 8:00 Trivia Night which would also include appetizers and some liquid refreshment. The lady who does the trivia was not in attendance so a gentleman stepped in for the evening. He was excellent. Eight rounds of... More

It's a quaint old bar in the heart of Santa Fe. The waitress was giving out fresh popcorn, and my wife and I had a margarita at the bar (we've had better almost everywhere else in Santa Fe). Seemed a bit aged and dingy without being charming. We didn't have anything to eat, and don't really feel like we will... More

We had popped our heads into the Rio Chama Bar just up the block but found it too full of politicians in suits. The Dragon Bar was casual, relaxed, funky and obviously a locals favorite - more to our liking. While we weren't impressed with the happy hour wine or margaritas, it is the type of establishment where we would... More
