Description: Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring...
Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among pinons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

This is the refined and tranquil place to soothe any pains from museum going, shopping or hiking around Santa Fe. Beautiful Japanese gardens & setting - one forgets that arid Southwest country is all around. Full Spa services in a drop dead setting. Highly recommended.

When in Santa Fe, everyone most go to Ten Thousand Waives! This is one of the most complete and satisfying Spa I have ever visited. Well thought out to make people comfortable and relax, there is nothing the owner and his amazing team have overlooked. The massages and facials are incredible, super informative and beyond feeling good for an hour...... More

My husband and I took a trip to Ten Thousand Waves during our visit to Santa Fe. The experience really begins as soon as you hit the parking lot. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained - so much so that just walking up to the main spa is a treat! We booked a soak private spa suite and... More

Recently they renovated the communal pool and no doubt spent a lot of money doing it. The previous pool was a bit rustic but the overall experience was more zen like, relaxing and a place for quiet escape. The new pool is much larger, very shallow with a water feature that has more of an "amusement park" feel than the... More

Make a reservation for a hot stone massage and soak. Beautiful drive to their location on road to ski area. Very peaceful.

We had a inter-generational spa-day with grandma, mother and daughters. The spa services were great and each of us enjoyed our technician. However, the overall feel of the place was a disappointing. The locker room was small and cramped, making it difficult to shower and maneuver around other guests. There were not enough showers. The hot pool (for those wearing... More

We're so sorry your experience didn't live up you your expectations. Thanks so much for your feedback--it's the best way for us to know what we need to work on. Arrogant front desk staff--no excuse. We always strive to achieve a level of Japanese customer service. It looks like we don't always hit the mark. Lack of shade--we had just... More

This was our first time here. We've experienced spas all over the world, and now we're adding this to our list of favorite day spas. The remote location really works for the quite zen atmosphere of the property. We started with 90 mins. the in OFaro suite and are so glad that we did, it's really a must do before... More

Went for a day pass, community hot tub is currently under renovation, so we were relegated to an eight person tub; rate should have been reduced since offerings were serverely downgraded.

Dear Mr. Fozziedoggie Thanks for your feedback. In order to become more fabulous than we already are, we are continually improving our facilities. We try to limit the inconvenience by working at night and in slower times of the year. Our new Grand Bath is now open. Come give it a try and I think you'll agree that it was... More
