Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among pinons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area. « less

I got treated by my youngest daughter to an hr. soak at the Waterfall hot pool with her on her day off. What a unexpected and very nice surprise.(She has been working double shifts and her back really needed a good soak... mine too.) It's always fun to play tourist in your hometown.Better yet in the middle of the week.When... More

Why two stars? The staff. Pure and simple the staff in the restaurant and spa front desk are hot and cold. At the new restaurant the first server tried to pad my check and up sell me. She was rude. Food was ok. At the spa the front desk young girls were super rude and seem helpless at any request... More

Stayed in the Sailor Moon room, loved the space. Would have liked it if the daybed was not a faux-leather material and if the throws looked more freshly laundered. Nevertheless, the room was perfect and the spa services wonderful. I had the Buddha Package, a private tub followed by herbal wrap. That is followed by a soothing massage, and finally... More

My husband recently planned a surprise birthday trip to Santa Fe for me. Our visit to Ten Thousand Waves and my massage with Robert was definitely the highlight of the weekend! This beautifully serene facility set in the pines is unlike your typical spa experience and was truly memorable. We enjoyed the communal pool and sauna, cold plunge, meditation room... More

We didn't realize that it was a bathing suit option group hot tub and sauna at the onset, which was pretty funny for our modest group. The facility itself is really nice, but after spending shockingly up to $700 per couple for one hour of hot tub and a facial followed by a neck and foot massage, we had to... More

Thanks for your feedback--it helps us improve the experience for others. It sounds like you received one of our 3-hour Nippon Nirvana packages ($260/person), which compared with most other spas we feel is quite reasonable. We try to always mention the clothing-optional nature of the public tubs at the time of reservation (and list it prominently on the website). Maybe... More

We weren't planning on visiting since we're in town just for a night, but on a whim decided to call to see if there is a spot open. Our time slot was short, just 45 minutes to use the private bath, but we enjoyed it nevertheless. We hope to be back for a longer visit. It was definitely one of... More

We booked the Ofura private bath and sauna, and it really was lovely. Luxurious, super clean, and authentic. Have visited many spas and resorts, and this is something special.

Jessica was the massage therapist and although I have been to the Waves many times over the last 20 years, this was the best massage I've had here.

My sister and I had a massage at this lovely place one afternoon during our visit to Santa Fe. Located a short distance from the plaza (3 plus miles) and easy to get to was a nice feature for two older ladies. Since we had never been here, we had no idea what to do or expect. The instructions were... More

I will return again!! The atmosphere is relaxing in & of itself. Massage was not relaxing & painful at times (that is how it was supposed to be) but I felt amazing the next day. The private bath and the head & foot massage was heaven. I bought products that were used on my and a t-shirt to remember my... More
