I stayed here for the weekend... the WEEKEND!! I flew into Albuquerque from Los Angeles and drove out to Sante Fe and still feel it was WELL worth the trip, in fact I will be doing it again. I tried to combine the town into the trip as well, which is fine, but i would really love to just come... more

This was not at all relaxing............ it has some peaceful elements like the fish ponds and hummingbirds. In the massage rooms it had an open window with all kinds of distracting noises from the outside, no smoothing music, there was no offer of scented oils. I get massages often so I know a good massage and the gal that did... more

As an up-tight East Coaster, I worried about my first massage, but Ten Thousand Waves put me at ease. Yes, it was a little frightening to get my robe upon arrival, change in a crowd in the locker room, and walk around outside in a skimpy kimono. But after a few minutes of hearing the sound of the water and... more

Silk stuffed pillows, I've never slept better. The spas are terrific. If you're on a budget, then forgo the massage and take a dip in the cold plunge instead! more

I was given a gift certificate to Ten Thousand Waves and went about once a month for the duration of my pregnancy. The private spas are heavenly. My husband and I always reserved the Waterfall Bath and it was perfect. We even brought our baby back once he was born and he giggled in delight. I didn't have the best... more

I recommend going right when they open before the crowds arrive. Was a peaceful experience when my friend and I first arrived, but by the time our treatments were done it was packed. Unless you enjoy a truly communal experience (naked chanting), opt for a private bath. If you are looking for a fancy spa, this isn't it, but if... more

a great place to relax. My girlfriend set up with the couples massage and it was great. I like to relax with my partner so I've never tried the communal tub, but if you want to relax get a private room...They are very nice...the one I normally get has a steam room, hot tub, shower and great view ....As a... more

I recently made a visit to Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe (January 2, 2009) expecting first class service. Instead, I got the worst massage experience I've ever had. 1) First, to get anywhere on the complex, you have to walk everywhere outside, in only a robe, uphill, in freezing cold weather. 2) Second, I booked a 80 minute massage... more

If you are going to spend $20 for the communal - go ahead an splurge for the private pool! Just got back from a 2 hour 8:30 to 10:30 soak in the Kojiro, which is the women's communal by day. It has its own sauna and cold plunge pool. You get a key to lock yourself in. Go on a... more
