Description: Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring...
Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among pinons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

This is the second time I have come to Ten Thousand Waves. I got a massage this time and it was unbelieveable!!! My friends got facials and they loved those too. It was so relaxing, you sit in a hot tub first, massage and then had lunch. It was a great afternoon and I will come back.

I cannot recommend Ten Thousand Waves enough. It was a 20-minute drive from Santa Fe and well worth it. We were immediately welcomed and shown around before staff gave us our kimonos and directed us to the locker room to change. We spent the next hour relaxing in one of the private hot tubs. If you can justify this, do... More

Lord have mercy....if you do one really pampering thing for yourself while in Santa Fe make it a visit to this Japanese bathing spa! Wow, it's an experience I will definitely remember: private hot tub/sauna gardens, beautiful paths lit by Japanese lanterns, waterfalls, food soaks, communal pools and a menu of massages, skin treatments and spa pampering that rivals any... Excellent spa with adjacent japanese restaurant. Go for the tour before you sign up as you might decide on different options. This spa is located in the hills with beautiful trees all around

We loves it!! What a great afternoon. First we started with a one hour private bath. We have a sauna, hot tub and cold tub. Very cool. The we each had the 80 min nose to toes treatment. Ahhhh. So very relaxing. The best spa treatment we've ever experienced!!

I have lost track of how many times I've been to 10k waves but it nevery files to deliver. My favorite package is the Buddha special. We usually are assigned to the Shoji tub but this last trip, we were bumped up to the Ofuro spa suite which was great. The suite was spotless and very relaxing. The Buddha special... More

A very "ZEN" spa! My husband and I loved the private sauna and soaking tub. Massages good too. An experience you should not miss out on.

I love this place for the beautiful surroundings and kind & attentive team. It is the main reason why I visit Santa Fe, frankly! If you can, treat yourself to the Long and Sweet package: 5 hours of bliss! I love the private hot tubs nestled in the mountainside. The treatment rooms are in a serene Japanese style. The facilities... More

Beautiful spa with wonderful services. Excellent customer service. It is busy with a lot of people getting treatments even in the off season. Everyone was friendly. Good value.

I treated myself to a spa day at Ten Thousand Waves at the end of my vacation in Santa Fe and what a wonderful surprise! The communal baths are clothing optional so I opted to pay a little more for a private bath. The location is in a wooded area and the bath area, while privacy fenced, is open at... More
