Description: Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring...
Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among pinons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

I never miss this place when I'm in Santa Fe. This is my favorite spa! It's relaxing and the treatments are to die for. I went twice this time!

Ten Thousand Waves is by far a must when visiting Santa Fe. World class therapists will knead your flesh and soften your skin until you feel rejuvenated from the hot desert sun. The Japanese architecture and décor is beautiful and transports one to the far east while simultaneously offering unparalleled views of the desert forests and skyline. Splurge if you... More

This is one of my favorite places on the planet. As soon as I step in the door, I feel relaxed. Magnificently beautiful and peaceful environment with outstanding amenities. Gotta love the discount for NM residents! During my last private hot tub soak, the moon rose over the mountain and it was just perfect. Front desk staff is always so... More

10,000 Waves is a unique experience. Two couples and we reserved the private Waterfall spa, which has a hot tub big enough for ten folks, a cold plunge (you have to try it!) and a sauna for five or so. We reserved for 1 1/2 hours and that was just enough. If you have the time schedule a massage to... More

A great relaxing place. Have a private bath or a communal one. The oxygen facial by Betty was so great and my face looked wonderful. Many types of massages and treatments are available at a beautiful mountaintop location.

My wife and I stayed at TTW this past week while in Santa Fe for the Opera. The rooms were quiet and well appointed with fridge, microwave, granola and almond milk as well as fresh fruit. Our gated patio was beautiful and a great place to sit and read or have bread and cheese lunch. Staff was courteous as always.... More

Not cheap but worth it for a special occassion OR if you have the time to spend a day there. Lots of Massage options, Yummy food, choices of water relaxation pools. One of my favorite spas in the country.
