Description: Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring...
Ten Thousand Waves is inspired by the great Japanese mountain hot spring resorts. Ten minutes from downtown Santa Fe, but only minutes from the National Forest, there is nothing quite like this on the North American continent. Among pinons and junipers are beautiful outdoor hot tubs and spa suites, world-class bodywork & skin care, and the amazing izanami restaurant. For a lucky few, it is the closest lodging to the Santa Fe Ski area.

OMG. What a wonderful experience. So peaceful and relaxing. It seemed like everyone there was on their "best behavior". Everyone was polite and courteous. We got our money's worth.

Gorgeous! The facilities are wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the massage was incredible. In fact, I had been having pain in my leg before my massage, but now (3 weeks later) I have been pain free ever since. It was a wonderful experience. I can't wait to go back! My husband and I shared a private hot tub and... More

Ten Thousand Waves enhances the uniqueness of the greater Santa Fe area. We were given a tour of the property by one of their young employees and decided to return later that day for dinner and a massage. The Japanese style buildings, their soaking tubs and placement along the side of a mountain were realistic enough to give you the... More

This is a must do if staying in Santa Fe. They offer a wide range of spa treatments and packages. The service is superb from the moment you arrive until you leave. We reserved a 3 hour package. Afterwards we dined in the adjacent restaurant which offers well prepared Japanese dishes. Excellent!

Really enjoyed our stop at TTW. plan to spend several hours and enjoy all of the amenities. We enjoyed the grounds & soak in women's pool before being called on the intercom for an amazing - and effective massage treatment. It was a terrifiic experience. After, it was nice to just relax and let the world go by. look forward... More

Beautiful Japanese style spa. Great services, pools are closing optional but separate men and women's. Loved the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.

I go there all the times whenever I have a chance. Those hot springs waters in the pools are the reasons for my going back.

I had been to Ten Thousand Waves in the 1990's and was anxious to return! I am sad to say that I was disappointed! I scheduled individual massages for myself and my partner. We both had master massages but we experienced different levels of satisfaction. We arrived early and they had no record of our ticket-that started the feeling of... More

On this, our fifth trip to Santa Fe, we finally made it to Ten Thousand Waves. I can't imagine EVER coming to this area again without setting aside at least a full afternoon or evening for some relaxation and pampering at this one-of-a-kind spot. My sister-in-law and I each scheduled a treatment, but arrived about an hour beforehand to relax... More

I love Japanese spas! This is my first visit to TTW and I was not disappointed. There was only a 25 minute massage available but it was incredible,Bridgette knew just what I needed. Plan on staying 2 - 3 hours. I did everything...soaked my feet, visited the relaxation room and listened to music while I journaled, submerged myself in the... More
