The student restaurant at the SFCA. We had read about this restaurant in the Santa Fe New Mexican. We were glad that we did. Ink is a temporary restaurant. It runs from Aug 13-28 on Thursdays and Fridays starting at 5:30, so my advice would be to go before it is gone. We went early on Friday Night Aug 14.... More

We've been attending events at the Santa Fe Culinary Academy for awhile now. I started with a Knife Skills Class, then we attended a soup making class and I followed that up with a class on risotto. Our most recent class was a demonstration class on mole given by Chef Fernando Olea of Epizote. The facility is great, the staff... More

The prix fixe menu started with a frisse salad with warm bacon shallot dressing and a soft boiled egg. They had two sommeliers to address and educate about suggested wine pairings. They were both very knowledgeable and helpful. I thought it was particularly helpful because they poured samples from the suggested wine list. The Guigal Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2011... More

Three of us celebrated a friend's birthday with a Knife Skills Class. A fairly experienced cook, I still learnt a LOT. I've been noticing the improvement in my food handling whether making ratatouille or grilled cheese sandwiches. And more that the useful, it was a very fun evening. We ate a wonderful meal, and enjoyed a bottle of wine while... More

Our group of 4 friends signed up for a community cooking class at the Santa Fe Culinary Academy and had a blast! Chef Rocky met us at the local farmers' market a few blocks away from the Plaza. He told us a little about his background and the philosophy of the Academy and then led us through the market chatting... More

A cooking class at the Santa Fe Culinary Academy became the highlight of a trip to Santa Fe with five friends in July. Chef Rocky Durham introduced us to Santa Fe's culinary history and oversaw several groups as we prepared delicious traditional Santa Fe food which we had for lunch along with regional wines. The academy in downtown Santa Fe... More

We attended the Santa Fe Culinary Academy's pop up dinner honoring the summer solstice. The Santa Fe Culinary Academy is located at 112 W. San Francisco St. Suite 300, Santa Fe, NM. Chef Rocky Durham and Chef Tanya Story teamed up for a festive and floral summer dinner party at the Santa Fe Culinary Academy. We were treated to an... More

Wow! This is really an amazing place. I went to a "pop-up lunch" there in May and it was terrific. The lunch was the final project of a week-long class during which the participants created their own concept for a restaurant from the title (Melange) and the menu through to the creation of an incredible meal for the attendees. (This... More

Enjoy an afternoon with Chef Rocky and Chef Tanya immersing yourself in Santa Fe's culinary history. Not only did we learn how to make several regional dishes, Chef also taught us the basics of chopping and several other 'hot' kitchen tips. It's a wonderful way to spend time with your friends.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday in Santa Fe over a long weekend and spent a few hours at SFCA with Rocky and Tanya. We had the BEST time! We were a group of 16, and the cooking class was everyone's favorite activity. Rocky and Tanya were funny and really entertaining. We learned quite a bit about the origins of... More
