My Wife and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary, and it was just lovely. We had the 2 bedroom casita that's on the same property as the main buildings. The house is accessed from the parking lot by walking under a wonderful vine-covered bower. The house was quite nice for two people, and if you had two couples the... More

This was a pleasant surprise in the middle of the Santa Fe dessert. We happened upon it quite by accident and stayed for a tasting. We had a glass of our favorite wine and walked around the gardens. Great staff! Personable and friendly.and good wine. We bought the Holy Mole for our friends.

Wonderful wines. A most beautiful venue. Gorgeous grounds with multiple cozy sitting areas among incredible gardens. A unique and comfortable tasting room. Friendly folks who take time to answer all questions about their wines and the vineyard. Bottom line, a superb place to stop.

Impressive wine. Lovely vineyard. The fellow who poured was very knowledgeable about wines. We tried 10 wines for $6/person. Most of wine wines were excellent. We bought a bottle for our trip and plan to buy more when we return home. They have a wine club and ship across country. The tasting room was really lovely too and they had... More

We had a busy day walking around Santa Fe and decided to take a drive out to Estrella Del Norte to visit the tasting room. Kirsten is a great ambassador for the vineyard. She took us thru a range of whites to reds. We enjoyed everyone of wines. The Cabernet and the Pinot were exceptional. Just for fun we tried... More

Visited early in the day. Dog friendly with under counter hooks to use for leash while tasting. Fun to stroll the grounds and look at eclectic decor. Wine was OK (it's New Mexico wine and we tend to be wine snobs). Left with 3 bottles, Chardonnay, Barbera, and of course Holy Mole chile chocolate wine to surprise my dinner guests... More

We first visited Estrella del Norte two years ago, after hearing great things about it. The vineyard itself is beautiful, and the owners and staff are some of the friendliest folks we've met in Santa Fe. All of the wines are very good, but a few of our favorites are the Barbera, The Zozobra Blend, and The Holy Mole. The... More

Great wine, reasonable price, friendly service, well kept gardens and property. They even give you a sheet so you can track your comments on each wine. Time well spent.

During our stay just down the road at Casa Escondida, we were given tickets for a two for one wine tasting at Estrella Del Norte. This delightful vineyard is tucked away in the countryside between Chimayo and Santa Fe. A gorgeous little piece of New Mexico, small vineyard with lovely gardens and patio. Take a picnic lunch and buy wine by the glass. Peaceful. Glad we went.
