We went on the Rio Grande Overlook off-road adventure in a Pinzgauer. Next time we'd book it with a hike, the area is so wondrous. We were picked up at our Santa Fe vacation rental and headed to the national forest. The road got quite bumpy, much to children's delight (it's most stable closest to the cab). But is the... More

I learned so much about New Mexico, and much of the United States, from my tour guide Robert on the La Bajada 4X4 tour!! Viewing the major geological formations from a panoramic perspective while being provided with local insight & perspective was extraordinary--much like the gorgeous monsoon-season cumulus clouds billowing all across the landscape!!! I cannot emphasize how educational, but... More

Courtney took us on a fabulous tour of the ruins today. She shared so many interesting facts and has amazing knowledge of the history. What an enthusiastic and wonderful guide!

This was our 1st excursion on our road trip. Our guide was Fritz, he was great. He met us at our hotel and gave us some options about the day before we left. We decided to hike down to the ruins and explore once down the mountain. Fritz explains things along the way and points out things you may not... More

Great "off-the-beaten-path" excursion. Our tour guide, Chris, was great! We saw a different side of the Santa Fe area.

We took two tours with Santa Fe Walkabouts . The Pinz tour down Old Highway 66 was lots of fun with great scenery, some adventure up some steep inclines and down some hairpin turns and overall great guide in Chris. Note: it was only high 50's - low 60's when we were there so we were very glad we brought... More

Our guides, Fritz and Robert, were very informative and gladly answered questions and gave us a ton of history on the geology and the history of the Indians and pueblos at the park. If you want to learn about the old Pueblos, see cave dwellings and petroglyphs while hiking through gorgeous mesas, take this tour.
