My husband and I went mountain biking in Santa Fe. Edwin was our guide and he was very knowledgable, professional and alot of fun! We were used to road biking so it was a new experience for us but we loved it. Sue the owner, was prompt with replies and requests, and Edwin was on time and delivered everything promised... More

Our family took the Route 66 tour on 7/23. Georges & Edwin were our guides & they did a great job! Georges stopped and gave us the historical info for each location & gave everyone a chance to take photos. Excellent tour in the Pinz!!

We purchased 2 intermediate mountain bike trips for our boys (19 and 15) so we could spend the day in Santa Fe. They did not disappoint. The lady on the phone was informative and professional. On the trip, Joe did not disappoint. We met at the visitor center; they were right on time (1:00). He had the boys bikes, we... More

My husband and I took an off road tour with Santa Fe Walkabouts in the Pinz. What a great time. We went on the old Route 66. No roads, just a few trails and lots of rocks. Awesome scenery. Our guide, driver, was Fritz and he was great, very informative, and made the trip fun. Highly recommend using Walkabouts. Can't... More

My family and I did the off road adventure in the old Route 66 highways was an amazing experience and was cool to see the old roads people drove on in like the 1960s and the adrenaline rush you get when your 3 meters from a giant drop off.

Riding up La Bajada hill is a dream of many die hard Route 66 roadies and Sue and George's company helped us realize our dream. It was exceptional. Fritz was our guide, and he handled the Pinzgauer with confidence and even very high up the hill on tight switch backs I never felt fearful or off balance. Fritz knew about... More

We spent 2 days with our guide Deborah from Santa Fe Walkabouts and it was excellent. We received great service and always had very good communication with Sue the owner of the company. They have a great range of group tours, however, we had our guide to ouselves for the 2 days. We learnt so much about the history of... More

My daughter and I recently visited Santa Fe for the first time and fortunately,we read the reviews about Santa-Fe Walkabouts. After a few emails, Sue, the co-owner, developed a two-day itinerary that accommodated my needs. Our guide, Deb,was both well-informed and extremely personable. We were picked up both mornings at our hotel. Visiting Chimayo was a highlight and the Native American-Spanish Traditions... More

Oh and you fly over a few with Georges at the wheel! We get a private tour every time we are in town, and Georges never shows us the same places twice. He knows the back country like it's his native land...and that is quite a few miles away! (Guess first, then ask!) See ya all next time we are... More

Santa Fe, New Mexico is the oldest capital city in the United States and works overtime to retain its tradition. They don't pump in artificial attractions the way that Mexico and the Caribbean do. Hence, there is a dearth of attractions. Regardless, the number one attraction in town is Santa Fe Walkabouts. We took the "NEW MEXICO’S ROUTE 66 –... More
