We experienced everything we had hoped for on the High Road to Taos tour: great scenery, history, culture and a sense of contemporary life in the area as well. Courtney was an exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging guide. In our view this tour is a great option if you're visiting Santa Fe and looking for one great tour that will take... More

When sister and her husband met us in Sante Fe and we were looking for something different to do, we found Sante Fe Walkabouts. We asked if they had any easy, scenic hike. Fritts took us on an awesome adventure to the Kasha-Katuwe tent rocks national monument, absolutely breathtaking, easy, short, lots of scenic history. That was so much fun,... More

Guides Georges and Edwin showed me, and a few other passengers, the natural side of Santa Fe in a way that was extraordinary and unforgettable. We went from paved roads to dirt service roads, and then took a ride out to the rocky cliffs of West SF on the Route 66 tour. Once at the edge of the mesa, there... More

I wanted to see Taos Pueblo and Bandalier National Monument but didn't have much time to do both. Santa Fe Walkabouts prepared an itinerary so that I could go to both on the same day. The tour guide, Deborah, was friendly and knowledgeable, and although a bit pricey, the whole day was a dream come true and well worth it!

We were used to road biking so it was a new experience for us but we loved it. Sue the owner, was prompt with replies and requests, and Edwin was on time and delivered everything promised... More

Our family took the Route 66 tour on 7/23. Georges & Edwin were our guides & they did a great job! Georges stopped and gave us the historical info for each location & gave everyone a chance to take photos. Excellent tour in the Pinz!!

We purchased 2 intermediate mountain bike trips for our boys (19 and 15) so we could spend the day in Santa Fe. They did not disappoint. The lady on the phone was informative and professional. On the trip, Joe did not disappoint. We met at the visitor center; they were right on time (1:00). He had the boys bikes, we... More

My husband and I took an off road tour with Santa Fe Walkabouts in the Pinz. What a great time. We went on the old Route 66. No roads, just a few trails and lots of rocks. Awesome scenery. Our guide, driver, was Fritz and he was great, very informative, and made the trip fun. Highly recommend using Walkabouts. Can't... More

My family and I did the off road adventure in the old Route 66 highways was an amazing experience and was cool to see the old roads people drove on in like the 1960s and the adrenaline rush you get when your 3 meters from a giant drop off.

Riding up La Bajada hill is a dream of many die hard Route 66 roadies and Sue and George's company helped us realize our dream. It was exceptional. Fritz was our guide, and he handled the Pinzgauer with confidence and even very high up the hill on tight switch backs I never felt fearful or off balance. Fritz knew about... More
