My wife and I stumbled into the Michael Smith Gallery rather by accident after a pleasant lunch on the back porch of one of the restaurants on Canyon Road. What a most pleasant surprise! In Santa Fe it is not easy to distinguish yourself from 'all the others'. What we found truly unique were the Wouhaan baskets from Panama. Though... More

We recently visited this gallery and were enthralled by the display of beautiful Panamanian baskets. Purchasing one of these baskets would help indigenous people in Panama. Also displayed was stunning pottery and art work. The gallery has a peaceful feel to it, no crowded displays, no pressure from sales staff. It is definitely worth your time to visit this gallery... Laiyee Lee greeted us upon our arrival and let us look around to our hearts content. Everything was so amazing, but the best part was her awesome photographs of the baskets, rugs and other crafted pieces. We could afford... More

We were in Santa Fe for only a day - which, happened to be a day of constant torrential rain so we decided to check-out the galleries of Canyon Road. We stumbled into this one wet and disorientated. The lady who greeted us was so welcoming and accommodating, she was really charming - we spent a most informative hour being... More
