The Andrew Smith Gallery is an amazing collection of Photography just a short walk from the Plaza and down the street from the Georgia O'Keeffe museum. Visitors should allow time to experience this fabulous collection. Much more extensive than the Monroe Gallery, the Andrew Smith collection is amazing.

We so enjoyed the photographic displays in this gallery. They were of very high quality by renowned artists. There was also an interesting movie about Ansel Adams. The gallery is free and the photos are museum quality, many and varied.

This gallery, near the O'Keeffe museum, has the largest collection of privately held Ansel Adams photographs in existence. The second and third floors contain his earliest photos, from age 13 or 14, and numerous prints thematically arranged in different rooms. One item of interest is the placement of four prints of his Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico, made between 1942 and... More

My husband and I were looking for the Georgia O'Keeffe museum and just happened to park in this gallery's parking lot. Since my husband is a professional photographer, we had to see the photos here. Both of us love the work of Ansel Adams. Even though we could not afford to buy any of these originals, it was worth our... More

We stumbled across this gem while looking for the Georgia O'Keeffe museum in Santa Fe. It is well worth the visit for any student of black and white photography. Admission is free (so far, anyway) and many of these photographs on show are actually for sale. The famous Ansel Adams - Moonrise over New Mexico - has it's own separate... More

A great little gallery for Ansel Adams fans. David Arrington's collection of Ansell Adams photos from the biggest private collection in the world. None for sale unfortunately. Also a few Annie Leibovitz photographs, including for $45,000, the famous John and Yoko hugging photo. Free entry.

We love fine art photography and this is the best collection we have seen of the classic photographers, most from the black and white era, but a few color prints from film (no digital that we could see). All the Big Names are here. An amazing collection in one place..we just soaked it up!

This place is actually the office of one of the more important "collector" brokerages of limited photographs in the country. Not only do they allow you to browse their collection but they will also discuss the photos on display in their fabulous gallery. They have an incredible collection of Ansel Adams limited prints that would thrill every amateur photographer. I... More
