Stopped in for a delicious cup of chocolate while touring Santa Fe. The chocolate--note: sipping chocolate--so much more than "hot chocolate"--is served in small cups or take it to go. The owners greet you with tastes of various chocolate drinks, and are knowledgeable about what you may or may not like. We enjoyed a small cup while relaxing in their... More

Love this place. My husband and my preteen adore chocolate. The ambiance was casual and comfortable. We also took some chocolate purchases with us. The owner was super friendly and offered us a tour. Great experience was my daughter! They have a parking area as well. Wish I had a chance to try their homemade ice cream. Always will be... More

My family and I were visiting Santa Fe for the better part of a week, and finding a chocolaterie listed as the #1 restaurant in Santa Fe intrigued me. I figured they must be doing something fairly unique and special, and I was right. We arrived to find the little shop just buzzing with activity. Despite this, when our turn... More

Saw that Kakawa was rated #1 on trip advisor, so we had to check it out while on vacation in Santa fe. As soon as we stepped in the door we were greeted and served samples of chocolate elixirs by the staff and owner. My girlfriend was worried about their being vegan friendly. "Oh, yes this is made with almond... More

Kakawa is a "must visit" if you are in Santa Fe. Amazing sipping hot chocolate and the sea salt caramels are delicious. Wonderful friendly service. We will be back for sure.

While I am not a huge chocolate fan, this place was great. Make sure to try the chocolate drinks. I have never been anywhere quite like it!

Oh my goodness... What an amazing experience we had today at Kakawa Chocolate House! First we were treated to the most amazing samples of the delicious chocolate drinks and then ordering from their special selections of scintillating, smooth and soothing cups of our own hot chocolate. The owners and staff are outgoing, friendly and informative about their delicious fare, making... More

We stopped here during our travels in Santa Fe. It has great elixir's, chocolates and I took home some of their awesome caramel sauce. It has a small eating area inside.
