Can't miss with a visit to Kakawa! My go to place for Chocolate...and it is a place to put on your bucket list if you've not been! Truffles are unique and melt in your mouth and the bags of nibs are worth hoarding! Oh yes!

We were greeted with a sampling of their chocolate elixir. It was good not too sweet. The caramels were the best of their selection, especially the chili caramel. The chocolates were not too sweet but the difference in favors was hard to distinguish

OMG, as a chocolate lover, I did an overkill. I had no idea. Now, I know why chocolate pots were so popular. I also know why it is so expensive. Goodbye Godiva, Mrs Sees, etc. this is nirvana. I did overdoes, and swore off chocolate for 24 hrs, but I am going back

When we first walked in they said hello and asked if it was our first time there. Since it was we were given trials of drinking chocolate. We then ordered some and two small chocolates. One made with goat cheese! It was really good and they staff was really friendly.

We walked to Kakawa from the square for something sweet. When we got there we were greeted with free samples of several of the chocolate elixers! The two gentlemen working were very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations! Will definitely come back next time we are in town!

Small little shop full of great elixirs, fabulous ice cream and wonderful friendly service. Lovely seating outside under the trees. Near the Round House and many wonderful galleries.

i recently wrote complaining that I had been overcharged. I got a response from Tony who couldn't have been nicer and more apologetic. Alas he could not locate my receipt but is sending a box of chocolate in the mail to me. Great customer service! (And the chocolate is divine) Will surely stop in again on our next trip to... More

This chocolate house specializes in flavored liquid drinking chocolate and chocolate delicacies made from pure ingredients like coconut sugar and almond milk. They are to die for. You get to sample the liquid chocolate and ice cream before purchasing. We visit here every time we visit Santa Fe because it is so unique. The treats here are top notch, but... More

If you are a serious chocoholic (or have aspirations to be one), this is for you. Small space (very crowded when we were there), but the staff did a commendable job of moving things along and taking orders. The elixirs are fabulous and very rich. The Chocolate Espresso brownies are out of this world. Couldn't possibly try everything, but what... More

Based on trip advisor reviews, we stopped in to try the chocolate elixirs. So glad we did! A professed chocoholic, the elixirs were as good as I had hoped. We were invited to sample and I tried the 100% Zapoteca - very good but strong so if you want more of a sweet fix, I suggest the Americano at 70%.... More
