This year I sat on Orchestra Level and was a bit apprehensive at first. Every seat in this theatre has a good view. I soon found out There is more room to dance on the bottom level anyway.

I spent so many years as a child (very, very long ago…) sitting in the Lensic watching movies. It makes me so happy that the theater is still here and in such pristine vintage condition. It rarely shows movies anymore as it has been repurposed as a general theatrical venue--for performance, lecture, recital, etc. There are tons of movie options... More

I live in New Mexico and wanted to attend a concert being held there. I could not even purchase the tickets for three days because they were updating software and were not available by phone, website or anything. Once tickets went on sale, I had two tickets in my cart trying to determine the best seats. As I was trying... More

We, in SF, love not only the presentations that come our way, we cherish the originality of The Lensic. So beautiful inside and also so great at making everyone feel that quality

The Lensic is a truly beautiful place with many different types of events...from symphony to rock concerts...from Shakespeare to classic movies...there is something for everyone. We attended the Valentine's Day showing of the romantic film classic, Casablanca, which was only $5 per ticket and played to a completely sold out house. It was such a wonderful experience to watch those... More

The seats are comfortable and there are sufficient restrooms for all! Check the Lensic website before visiting Santa Fe and see a wide selection of entertainment in The... More

... that is the question. Who am I to review this nice, little (761 seat) iconic, local theatre? See Shakespeare-to-movies about particle physics (or anything else that matters). Without a doubt, an interesting place. You will enjoy the crowd as much or maybe more than the show itself. The entertainment actually starts the moment one walks through the door. Some... More

We attended the perpetual farewell performance of Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys last week at the Lensic. It was our first time at the theater and it is a gem. The online ticketing was a breeze, there was no wait at Will Call even with a full house, our seats were great and every other seat in the... More

There are always great shows playing at the Lensic. With a central location right off the Plaza, it is withing walking distance do the downtown hotels and the Rail Runner train station. This building was renovating a few years ago but has kept its old theater charm. It is a small theater compared to others of its caliber, but that... More

We love visiting the Lensic for Santa Fe Symphony performances and have seen ballet performances here as well. This beautiful, historic theatre is classic in design with great seats and acoustics throughout. It is located in the heart of the historic district close to fine dining and great shopping and museums.
