I was recently here to see the opera Les Pecheurs de Perles transmitted live from the Met in NYC. It was my first time to the Lensic and I thought it was a really cool experience. All of the staff were very friendly. The theater is so classic New Mexico in style. It seemed like every seat had a decent... More

We enjoyed the wonderful holiday performance of the Symphony and the Youth symphony in the gorgeous historic Arts Center just a few blocks off the Plaza.

This jewel of a theater hold a great variety of different events appealing to a very broad scope of interests. There is usually something going on there. Look at their lineup to see what appeals to your tastes. The Aspen Ballet's Nutcracker there in December is one of the very best and the seating is all very nice. We just... More

Had an opportunity to attend a concert of "Cumbia" Latin Jazz music. Was in ABQ with a group tour for the Balloon Festival with a free evening. We were staying at the Hilton, which only a half a block away. This historic theater seats 800, and has been beautifully maintained with comfortable seats. Tickets can be purchased online or by... My daughter, her friend & myself watched a concert on my last night of my visit. East Meets West ( Jazz & Indian music) The Art center was very nice inside & well worth the visit. This was my first trip o New Mexico from Florida. Great performance!

We saw a live show here and found the place friendly and inviting. The volunteer ushers were very helpful; the will-call line quick and friendly. The place has a lot of historic decorating aspects that make it interesting to look at. Get there a few minutes early to look around.

We were in Santa Fe right at the end of their Chamber Music Festival. We ordered tickets for the last night of the festival before we arrived. It was suppose to be an Evening of Chopin. Apparently at the last minute one of lead violinists couldn't make it so they had to scramble to get another performer. They were able... More

Cool old theatre. Attendants were nice and helpful. They need to figure bathroom situation out though, downstairs and outside too far.

I go to the LENSIC for the Lannan Series, concerts, entertainers, musical, and the Met Live. There is so much more that a single trip to their website will yield all sorts of entertainment. When in Santa Fe, be sure you make the trip. Beautifully restored movie house of past eras.

Whether it is local music, a road show, a visiting star performance or Met Hd or National Theatre broadcast this is a manageable venue. There is no a frozen yogurt store right outside the lobby!
