Santa Fe, particularly Old Town, is a very easy city to navigate. But if you do a tour such as the Loretto Line, you will get so much more insight on what this lovely city has to offer. I wish I could remember the name of our driver! He was so knowledgable and maneuvered us efficiently through town. Plenty of... More

They take you around town on a trolley like vehicle that is a bit hard to sit on with straight up and down seats. But they give you a nice overview of the town and history. It was worth doing before we went sight seeing on our own,.

We had already been in Santa Fe for a month before we took their Trolley Tour. The open sided, narrated trolley tour sounded like a fun way to hear some of the rich local history. What we didn't expect was all the local knowledge that would be shared as the tour took up beyond the historic district through neighborhoods, alleyways... More

Our tour was over an hour and a half (it was the last tour of the day). Much detailed information was given us and I cannot say enough about how well our guide presented the material. The tram was easy to hear what was being said throughout and seeing was easy. We stopped more than once too get out and... More

Disappointing in so many ways . . . first of all, the tour was not 1 1/4 hours as publicized - more like an hour. The guide (more about him to follow) completely skipped one of the most interesting areas of town, the Railyard District. As we passed by the street he should have turned on, he waved his hand... I have been to Santa Fe at least six times and wished I had done this tour before now. We caught it outside La Fonda. It lasts about an hour and 15 minutes and costs $15 ($10 for children). After fifteen minutes, we had learned things about downtown and I wondered what more was left to see. He took us... More

This tram tour is a fun way to get some history and familiarize yourself with Santa Fe. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and informative but, also quite entertaining. If you are a first time visitor and don't know your way around it's a good way to familiarize yourself with the different areas and plan your destinations. The fare is $15... More

First of all, I'll start by saying that I bet your experience with this will depend on your guide/driver. We did not like ours... My tips are to do this on your first day to get your bearings and see an overview of places around town (it would be especially good if you did not have a car). Also, don't... More

In addition to the historical recap of the area, our 1-1/2 hour tour also took us beyond the Plaza to Museum Hill and through some of the residential areas -- places you might not walk to or through on your own.

Our tour host, Gary, was outstanding. He took his time showing us sites and sharing his vast wealth of knowledge. He had a great and tasteful sense of humor. We saw numerous sites and had a great time learning about Santa Fe and it's deep cultural history. Highly recommend this as a way to get your bearings and learn more... More
