This tram tour is a fun way to get some history and familiarize yourself with Santa Fe. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and informative but, also quite entertaining. If you are a first time visitor and don't know your way around it's a good way to familiarize yourself with the different areas and plan your destinations. The fare is $15... More

First of all, I'll start by saying that I bet your experience with this will depend on your guide/driver. We did not like ours... My tips are to do this on your first day to get your bearings and see an overview of places around town (it would be especially good if you did not have a car). Also, don't... More

In addition to the historical recap of the area, our 1-1/2 hour tour also took us beyond the Plaza to Museum Hill and through some of the residential areas -- places you might not walk to or through on your own.

Our tour host, Gary, was outstanding. He took his time showing us sites and sharing his vast wealth of knowledge. He had a great and tasteful sense of humor. We saw numerous sites and had a great time learning about Santa Fe and it's deep cultural history. Highly recommend this as a way to get your bearings and learn more... More

I've lived in Santa for three years and had been visiting the area for 15 years prior to moving here and never took a narrated tour of Santa Fe. My daughter took me on the Loretto Line tour for Fathers Day and I found it to be very informative. For first time visitors I would highly recommend the tour. It... More

It's always nice to become familiar with a city and it's history, prior to investigating it further. Whenever we travel to a new area, we try to seek out a local tour, first thing. It's an inexpensive way to learn your way around and get recommendations. This tram tour did not disappoint; we were able to see things that we... More

We're fairly new to New Mexico. When friends and family visit, Santa Fe is a destination just about everyone wants to hit. We didn't know much about the city or state so after a few lousy visits, we decided to try this tour so we could share the city with future visitors. We'll just be sending future visitors here first... More

We decided to take the Loretto Line tram tour from the downtown historic district in Santa Fe, NM. There was a morning and afternoon tour which leaves in front of La Fonda Hotel on the plaza. There is no advance purchase necessary and the tickets are $15 per person. This is well worth the price, as you get approx. one... More

This was a fun and informative tour of Santa Fe. It gives you a nice overview of the area. Like other reviewers, I recommend taking an early tour and then going back to the places you want to see more closely. The tour was also very helpful with identifying some good places to eat in Santa Fe. Bring a sweater... More

This tour definitely gives you a feel for what Santa Fe has to offer. We discovered a lot of great restaurants, galleries and places you would not find if you just walked around Santa Fe. I recommend going on an earlier tour. We took the 230 and it got quite chilly and breezy toward the end of the tour. The... More
