Awestruck is probably a good word to describe my reaction to the vistas we were privy to. I wonder just how many people have been able to see what we experienced. Anna was friendly and patient with all the questions we had pre-trip and worked with us around the weather and our schedule to make sure we could have the... More

The Enchanted Lands tour was our second two-hour tour with Southwest Safaris. Once again, Anna was very friendly and helpful with our reservation. As we were heading to the plane, Bruce told us to "prepare to be awesome-ized." I'm not sure when or if that word will be added to the dictionary, but we were thrilled with our experience. The... The flight more than met our expectations. My wife and I had reserved a one hour flight and as Bruce, the pilot and owner, was explaining the tour I asked what else should I consider. Without being the least bit pushy he told us what we could see if we spent extra time in the air. We happily chose a... More

My wife and I just completed a one hour flight with Bruce. My wife had reservations about going on a small plane and Bruce did a nice job of putting her at ease before we took off.The one hour flight was terrific.A great combination of scenery and information from Bruce made this flight exemplary. He has many different flights and I think... What a wonderful trip. All of the different landscapes were amazing and Bruce did a fantastic job as tour guide and pilot. Between the wild horses, the pueblo ruins and and all of the different desert zones it all came together for a trip to remember forever. Take the time for the tour and enjoy the memories.

Everything was fantastic. The guide was knowledgeable and funny and extremely kind, and the scenery was wonderful (of course). The only thing that's keeping me from giving this a "Super-Awesome" rating is the limited number of tours available for single passengers. To see the Painted Desert or Monument Valley, I would have had to pay for two. But that said,... More

This was an airplane tour of the pueblos west and northwest of Santa Fe. 45 minute plane tour in a Cessna 4 seater landing at Los Alamos. Treated to a breakfast of juice and bagels then a hiking tour of local ancient pueblo by Atomic City tours. 20 minute flight back to Santa Fe. Our host, Bruce, was a great... More

Bruce gave us an excellent tour. We saw beautiful geographic variations on the Painted Lands tour--a must-see if you spend time in the Southwest. We also saw abandoned cowboy homes, a ghost town, and Indian ruins. Bruce has thoroughly sought out and then researched everything you'll see on this tour. Even if you've spent a lot of time in New... More

This is a two part experience: small plane ride around the Santa Fe area to look at the geology and archaeology from above, and a hike through the Tsankawi ruins. Bruce (the pilot) is knowledgable and energetic. He clearly loves to show the area to visitors. Georgia was our hiking guide, and she also has a lot of knowledge and... More

Despite being surrounded by snow storms, we had a great (and smooth) trip around the west of Santa Fe. Great views of El Camino Real, the Rio Grande, the Santa Fe trail, mesas, canyons, ancient cave dwellings, and mountains (including the southernmost peak of the Rocky Mountains.) We hope to do the Valley of Fire tour sometime when the weather... More
