We stayed in Santa Fe as part of our Route 66 road trip, doing most of the “Santa Fe Loop” before heading up on a side trip to Monument Valley. Schedule enough time to walk miles of museums, shops and restaurants. Takes more than a day if you want to see everything!

If you have Google Earth, then you can "Previsit" this historic trail, by starting at Ft. Union Nat'l Historic Site. Then just follow the wagon ruts out from there. Then when you get here you can go out and actually walk those ruts and be making your own history!

We wanted to see Santa Fe without driving and we always like to take tours so we went downtown and checked out the shuttles. Parking was a bit steep i thought. Ten dollars to park. I was approached within 5 minutes after parking by a person wanting money. The first open air bus we found was not leaving for at... More

We rented a private home for a week. Three generations, there was always something for everyone! Wonderful museums, playgrounds for the youngsters, great shopping for the ladies. While the guys went skiing, the gals went to ten thousand waves, a wonderful Japanese spa. Each meal was an adventure. The Pink Adobe provided us with a great New Years Eve dinner.... More
