We loved our visit the the Loretto Chapel. It is an amazing, miraculous place. The story of the Staircase is so beautiful and inspiring. Definitely a must see!

What a sham - the Cathedral is drab and the Staircase is ugly and anything but a miracle. Although touted as a religious experience, this is a for-profit gimmick owned by greedy Oklahomans. A real wedding mill - Count on one marriage ceremony per hour in the summer. A Not a spiritual experience at all.

I visited the chapel with my brother a while back, we were awestruck at the staircase and teh atmosphere in general. The story is facinating no matter what you believe, and it's truly something not be missed. Historically speaking the church has some huge points, I enjoyed every minute of it. I visit Sante Fe every other year, and it... More

This is one of the places not to be missed in Santa Fe. The story about how the "amazing staircase" came to be is so sweet. I was surprised, when I saw it that it was smaller than I thought it would be. But the experience was charming.

We had not been to the chapel in probably 20 years so we decided to take a few minutes and do it on this last trip to Santa Fe. It is still fascinating and kind of mind boggling. The gift shop has some really great items for sale also.

We tried to visit on a Saturday in June - not a good idea! There were continuous weddings so we never got to go inside! I would still recommend this, we were disappointed not to see it. Just plan your visit with June weddings in mind!

Great story about the construction of the winding staircase. I believe in mysteries so this appealed to me

This alone is worth the trip to Santa Fe. The hanging stair case is amazing, the historical photos show the staircase in use and the staff is very helpful.

Very popular for weddings and its obvious why—beautiful intimate atmosphere with intriguing staircase story. A very spiritual and inspiring house of worship.
