This is such a great place to visit! Lots of local artists with an incredibly diverse selection from jewellery to weaving, pottery, paintings, prints, wood work and more. In the back, there is an amazing garden with plantings in all sorts of unusual containers, and wonderful sculptures and other garden art. We always visit when we're in Friday Harbour!

Very quirky store. I did not purchase anything but enjoyed the garden. They have succulents planted in just about anything!

Island Studios is my favorite gallery in Friday Harbor! Great artwork from many artists and a lovely Koi pond in the back garden. Very convenient for people who are walking..just up Spring St. from the ferry by about 3 blocks. The art pieces run from every reasonable to pricey..great spot ot pick up a gift or two.

What a talented bunch of local artists! It's a big place with lots of visual treats! Many types of mediums are used both indoors and out. The variety is amazing! There were many items I have never seen anywhere else. This is an excellent place to get unique gifts and many are small. It is well worth the walk up... More

Every artist community could use a place like this. Lots of great local art and crafts for sale at reasonable prices. Found some really great smelling locally made soap and beautiful cards that had scenes of the island.

My Wife and I have always made a point of purchasing our last item to take home from Island Studios. Last year we chose a Large Hand Blown Glass Spirit Ball, and this year we chose a Hanging Glass Abstract Heart from the very the very Artist that was working the Front Counter (Cashier). Both are beautiful pieces we will... More

Nice large gallery on the main strip in Friday Harbor. Wide range of prices on a great variety of artist products. I bought a photo that I'd seen in a book by a local photographer. My wife bought a hat and another framed photograph. Probably the best gallery we visited.

This store offers products from local talented artists: paintings, soaps, lotions, pottery, jewelry, scarves, etc. The products are very high quality because they are hand crafted, and that is why they are also very expensive. Great place to shop if you can afford it.
