My daughters and sister and I just returned from a 3 day trip with Seaquest. Our guide Rachel was fabulous! She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and efficient and did a phenomenal job of keeping our party of nine organized, educated and safe. I will say though if we had known the amount of physical labor involved in this trip, and... More

We went kayaking from San Juan County Park on Wednesday, 7/29/15. The trip was great in every way. We were picked up exactly on time by the Sea Quest van in Friday Harbor, we had very clear and concise kayaking instructions by our guide, Liam, and had a wonderful kayaking adventure that included seal and eagle sightings as well as... My wife has always wanted to kayak with the orcas ever since we talked about moving up to Seattle. We finally got the chance last weekend and decided to choose sea quest because of the price and the reviews.... Please don't be fooled! Now we understand that it's not a 100% guarantee that we will see whales and although it... More

We are sorry that this reviewer participated on a rainy day and that whales weren’t spotted during their tour. But when it comes to outdoor pursuits, and kayaking in particular, weather, tides, and currents are forces of nature that cannot be guaranteed to cooperate with everyone’s idea of perfection. The same goes for the movements of whales and other wildlife.... More

Marcus was a great guide - energetic, engaging and helpful. We got to see multiple bald eagles, a peregrine falcon, lots of seals (and pups!)...and best of all; ORCAS! We saw them right at the end of the trip just as we were all getting nervous on getting skunked. Two pods, replete with calves and big males. What an experience.... More

We had a great time on the 2 day kayaking/camping trip with Matt. He was a great guide who really knew his stuff, and made sure our group maxed out our experience. The orcas were not in our favor this weekend, but we did see tons of seals, eagles, and other wildlife and some great scenery. Matt planned things so... More

We did the 6 hour tour. Although we didn't see any Orcas we still had a fun time. Our guide, Elizabeth was really good.

Enjoyed this a lot - although we did not see whales. But lots other wildlife and it was fun kayaking along near the shoreline. Our guide Markus was very knowledgeable and friendly.

A friend of mine and I came to Friday Harbor for some relaxation and fun. We decided to try and see Orcas from a sea kayak and choose Sea Quest to take us on our adventure. While we missed out on seeing any whales, Markus, kept the excursion interesting and showed us lots of different wildlife.

My boyfriend and I did a recent three-day trip with Sea Quest in the San Juans. While we did not manage to spot any orcas we did see other wild life, made some new friends, got lots of fresh air and exercise and had a great time overall. Our two talented, intelligent and friendly guides (Elizabeth and Kerry) were terrific.... More

Our group of 12 had a great experience kayaking with Markus. He offered great instructions to those of us who were newbies. The triple and double kayaks were easy to maneuver with the rudders. We saw harbor seals and peregrine falcons but unluckily, no whales.
