Fun to see this spot via a car trip and not doing it by boat. Was good and windy, so the water was going wild---neat!

Great spot on San Juan Island just a few miles from the town of Friday Harbor sightseeing, hiking and enjoying scenic views of the coastline of Washington and the waterfront. Terrific photos and picture taking opportunities. A few hiking trails close by along with walking on the beaches. If you enjoy the outdoors and the water, this is the place!

This southern point on the island offers beautiful and expansive views and good hiking. But don't expect an "attraction" other than Mother Nature at her very finest. If you aren't accustomed to the beauty of the northwest, you will be in awe. The drawback now is the road construction. Driving for several miles on gravel is not fun and makes... More

It's very pretty out here but nice and sort of isolated feeling. No one there when we visited. We walked along the cliff, climbed down onto several rocky sections and hiked out to the lighthouse. Without crowds this is a great place to experience nature...birds, deer...was hoping to spot a seal but didn't. Great views and great photos.

Just a park by the water but with amazing views, come and chill out or take some pictures. On a clear day get a picture with a sola oat in foreground and Mount Baker looking awesome in the background.

Beautiful view of the south end of the San Juan Island and nice beaches and a hiking trail near by. Currently road construction is taking place through October 2015, so allow extra time, but well worth it.

This is such a beautiful place! Long sweeping grasslands and a beach that stretches out along the shore forever! Lots of places to sit, stroll, take in the view, have a picnic, scour the sand for treasures! Well worth a visit - great for the soul!

I went early in the morning, riding my bike from Friday Harbor. Riding up the hill and then down towards the beach I was taken aback by the beauty. I couldn't wait to get down to the beach. I had the beach all to myself at this early hour. The beach is full of drift wood. I climbed over all... More

We stopped by here on our way back to our place to check out, so we didn't give it the time it deserved, but it was a beautiful drive and a very classic Pacific Northwest spot. Don't miss it. A little construction getting there but it was not a big holdup. Great place to hike around or to just sit... More
