Pack a picnic, park the car, walk the trail to the light house and enjoy. The view is spectacular, the sounds refreshing, the flora and fauna engaging...you'll love it. If you are lucky you might see some kayakers surfing the tidal current waves. If not, don't worry, you can listen to the abundant wildlife sunning themselves on the islets just... More

Beautiful views, nice walking trails, Light House, 4 frolicking Orca Whales close in to keep our attention. We even saw an Otter hump across the road in front of us. What is not to like?

Even if you don't have time to hike, take a scenic drive and enjoy in the magnificent landscape. Even better, pack a picnic...easy to pick-up supplies in Friday Harbor.

A must. This place was beyond beautiful. Went out for a geocache and stayed awhile. It v was like a mini Mt. Constution. You can see forever from light house. Go see this.

We visited Cattle Point a few times the last week of April. It was before the summer crowds arrived so we had the place to ourselves. Enjoyed sitting near the cliffs watching the eagles soaring. We saw lots of eagles, rabbits, fox, deer, harbor seals and more while enjoying the view. The fox seem very tame so beware. I thought... More

We drove to Cattle point specifically to see foxes. We did not see one. Nice spot for taking pictures of scenery.

Most tourists blow by this spot in favor of whale fin and back watching. Mistake. I live here part time and love to sit on the rocks and watch the tidal rips and the boats fight the massive currents. On a sunny day, just lounging by the old radio station and listening to the surf is pretty darn close to... More

We didn't have time to get out and properly explore, but from what we did see it's a great beach and a cute lighthouse. Will visit again the next time we go to San Juan Is.

Cattle Point was a beautiful area with amazing views! We enjoyed hiking along the coast and on the beach and saw some incredible wildlife- red fox, tons of bunnies and a family of bald eagles up close. There was a group of kids on a school trip exploring on the rocks at low tide near the lighthouse but otherwise we... More
