Good - but under construction

This used to be a great place to go - now it is a little rundown but there is a lot of construction underway so maybe they will bring it back to its old glory.

Great location!! The mall is near both the Alamo & the River Walk. Nice inside with friendly service. It has stores, a comedy club, theatre, etc. My favorite was the Rivercenter Drug Store. I found many local items there to add to a basket I was making for my daughter. The ladies there were wonderful. We entered (unknowing to us)... More

The mall is conveniently located near River Walk and the Alamo. All the standard stores are inside, but it is a beautiful mall. The IMAX theater is located inside the mall. A great way to get out of the San Antonio heat for a while.

Within a block of the Alamo and within easy walking distance of the Riverwalk area of San Antonio, we visited one morning to occupy available time. Outside scaffolding and closure of several mall entrances indicated some mall rehabilitation was underway. Inside we found that, like many town center malls, at least one third of mall store locations were unoccupied. Some... More

Typical mall. Nothing special. Mostly snacks, kiosks, souvenir shops, movie theatre and a food court. A Macy's anchors the mall and could come in handy for those who forgot something at home. Woman at the so called information booth struck up a conversation. I thought she was trying to trying to drum up business for one of the various tours... More

Though in a great location, don't bother going to this mall unless you have plenty of time to waste. A decent drugstore, but there are no stores worth your time. The Macys is dated and very small.

This is a great location. It's close enough to the Riverwalk area. We parked in the garage and then walked to the Alamo. Then we walked to the Riverwalk for dinner. After dinner we walked back to the mall. There are actually two parking garages so be sure to make note of which garage you parked in. There is also... More

Its a typical mall that happens to be in a beautiful location. This looks like a remnant of the downtown mall trend in the 80's. It seems totally out of place, bordering on ridiculous. Alamo, Riverwalk.....Sunglass Hut? Skip this place unless you just can't stay away from Lids or Tutti Frutti...

It's in a great location but was a bit run down. There was some construction work nearby so hopefully it's getting a makeover.

I guess I expected for a Mall closely related to the River Walk, to have high end stores. It didn't, so that for me, was a little disappointing. Mall looked (to me) like it needs a re-inventing.
