Within a block of the Alamo and within easy walking distance of the Riverwalk area of San Antonio, we visited one morning to occupy available time. Outside scaffolding and closure of several mall entrances indicated some mall rehabilitation was underway. Inside we found that, like many town center malls, at least one third of mall store locations were unoccupied. Some... More

Typical mall. Nothing special. Mostly snacks, kiosks, souvenir shops, movie theatre and a food court. A Macy's anchors the mall and could come in handy for those who forgot something at home. Woman at the so called information booth struck up a conversation. I thought she was trying to trying to drum up business for one of the various tours... More

Though in a great location, don't bother going to this mall unless you have plenty of time to waste. A decent drugstore, but there are no stores worth your time. The Macys is dated and very small.

This is a great location. It's close enough to the Riverwalk area. We parked in the garage and then walked to the Alamo. Then we walked to the Riverwalk for dinner. After dinner we walked back to the mall. There are actually two parking garages so be sure to make note of which garage you parked in. There is also... More

Its a typical mall that happens to be in a beautiful location. This looks like a remnant of the downtown mall trend in the 80's. It seems totally out of place, bordering on ridiculous. Alamo, Riverwalk.....Sunglass Hut? Skip this place unless you just can't stay away from Lids or Tutti Frutti...

It's in a great location but was a bit run down. There was some construction work nearby so hopefully it's getting a makeover.

I guess I expected for a Mall closely related to the River Walk, to have high end stores. It didn't, so that for me, was a little disappointing. Mall looked (to me) like it needs a re-inventing.

We live two hours away and would have liked to have done some shopping while staying on the river, but this mall has mostly touristic stores and low end shops. I looked all over for kids sandals and the closest I could find were crocs. If you want good stores and name brands, this is not really a mall but... More

Mall was very clean and very close to the Marriott Riverwalk where we stayed. Take good walking shoes if you plan on going in all the stores because there is a lot to see.

They had maybe 2 stores with Texas stuff in them- one was a big T-shirt one with lots to choose from including sports teams and AirForce. Had mugs, bbq sauce, books, lotions etc. Loved it!
