Pat O'Briens usually has a live band and has space for dancing. It's a great place to go out on the Riverwalk. Make sure you order a hurricane.

A must do is to have a Hurricane drink while in San Antonio at Pat O'Briens. Beautiful atmosphere, fun, food and music!

Last time I was in San Antonio was years ago. Some friend suggested I try a hurricane (rum drink). I didn't take the opportunity. So this time, I asked around for the best hurricane and Pat's was the most referred. We stopped by and found all the referrals were right on. The absolute best hurricane in town. Loved it and... The riverwalk is filled with plenty of expensive places to eat that actually serve up food thats worth it. If your just looking for some drinks and a good place to hear some music this would be the place to come. I just happened to go by during $4 hurricane night which was really a great value, but the food... More

I didn't eat here but had a great time. I was there on a Saturday night and there was a live band playing, I thought they were great even though it was freezing and they were outside. The piano bar, bah. The second floor, was okay, full of drunk ppl, bah. you will have to pay a cover to get... More

We had a burger and drinks one evening here. The food is good, the drinks were decent, but if you are expecting the same atmosphere as Pat O's in New Orleans, you may want to look elsewhere.

Worst time ever. We had to clean our table ourselves Tea that looks like sugar water. Extremely burnt steak when I ordered a rare steak. Appetizers weren't done in 45 minutes when my burn't steak and my wife's burger came out. Never will recommend this place ever, but then again you won't respond to this review. It will only hurt... Visited: 10/27/2013 for Brunch-Before leaving town I wanted to have brunch here after seeing the menu online. If you aren't going to be ready for service at 11 then don't open at that time! While we were there we saw 3 groups of people that walked in and straight back out. We should have done the same! Everyone was scattered... More

After going to Pat O'briens in other states I was expecting more. There is one tiny bar in the piano room, patio was a mix of people mainly kids with mom and dad. When your going out to a bar not what you expect to be hanging out with toddlers and grade schoolers.
