We were visiting from Phoenix and toured on Jan 2nd & 3rd 2015. It was cold and rainy and we were left stranded for 45 minutes at a time waiting in the freezing rain. Considering all the extra activity in town we would have expected extra cars not less. If not for the drivers who went out of their way... More

The two San Antonio Trolley companies have recently merged. (Don't confuse them with the double-decker, open top buses!). No matter which ticket you buy, it's hop-on hop-off 60-minute tour is fabulous especially if your tour guide/driver is Philip who calls himself 'The Mouth of the South'! You can tell how much he enjoys sharing all the history of San Antonio,... More

This was a great tour with an excellent guide. Leroy provided an entertaining and insightful tour of the area. His personal anecdotes and experience from being born in one of the old missions to being raised in the city and returning after army service added much to the tour. The company offers an on-off option but we just took the... More

We enjoyed the trolley tour very much. Phillip was our favorite tour guide, but each one has something different to say, so they all blended together into a very informative tour. The thing we liked was being able to get off at a stop and spend time there, and then pick up the next trolley, as they ran every 30... More

The Alamo Trolley Tour is a wonderful way to see a lot of sights in a short amount of time while not having to drive or park a vehicle. You can get off and see what interests you the most and bypass stops that are not high on your list. The drivers were courteous and arrived very close to the... More

We took the tour two different times. Got lots of different information from the two guides! Leroy is a really good tour guide. Has a great sense of humor!

We took the trolley ride on a cold Sunday afternoon. We bought tickets at the booth opposite to the Alamo and we ambled around the area. The trolley personnel were very helpful - they gave us a boarding card - so we had seats guaranteed and we could walk around in the area. We sat in the bus for the... More

We didn't have as good a guide as what other reviewers have been saying about Leroy, but she was proficient in pointing out many things, answering questions and being very friendly and humorous. Taking a city tour of the major sights helps to give you a better idea of the lay of the land and is an overview of things... More

We rode the trolley three times over two days. While all of our experiences were good, our tour with Leroy was extraordinary. A corporate trainer by trade, I wouldn't attempt to compete with him. He kept everyone laughing, learning and listening. We didn't want to get off to see the mission because we didn't want to give up the opportunity... More
