Highly recommend doing this tour on your first night. Not only does it give you a good history of San Antonio, but it is a good introduction to the area. Our guide Eric was great! He was knowledgeable, entertaining. He also gave us great tips and advice that were invaluable for our trip.

I have been on haunted tours across the country and this is undoubtably one of the best. The tour leads you into some of the more esoteric dark corners of San Antonio history and ghostly spots--The Emily Morgan Hotel, the old Bexar County jail with its indoor public lynchings--as well as the more touted Alamo and Menger Hotel ghosts. The... More

Great way to see the city, learn the history and think about what could be. No ghost sighting this tour but that did not matter. Our whole family enjoyed. Thanks Eric for the great tour.

Started out at the Menger motel and toured that. Gave a lot of information about the ghosts there. Walked to a cathederal and other "haunted places" It was a nice walking tour.

Dinner at the Menger Hotel was delicious and the tour of the hotel was very informative and spooky. My 13 year old daughter and I also stayed at the Menger Hotel. We didn't experience any haunting activity, but we definitely enjoyed ourselves. Even though the night was pretty humid, the walking tour was great! Our guide was very knowledgeable. I... More

We enjoyed our tour around the haunted sites of downtown San Antonio. It was a lovely evening for a walk and we thought it was a great way to see the city. Our guide Eric was enthusiastic and knew the material cold. We weren't scared at all and didn't see the orbs (just reflections of the other tourists in the... More

Like others have said I guess some tour guides are better than others. Our tour guide was just average. While she did provide us with interesting history she sounded as if she was reading from a book, little enthusiasm and she didn't have any personal stories or anecdotes to add to the history to make it more relatable. She was... More

My husband and I loved this tour. The history along with the stories made it great. I loved every minute of it. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Learned a lot about San Antonio that I didn't know before. Love the story of The Yellow Rose of Texas. I recommend this tour to anyone that visits San Antonio, it's worth... More

With all the rave reviews, I was disappointed that this tour was not as good as I would have hoped it would be. Perhaps some guides are better than others, I don't know. I enjoyed learning a little about San Antonio history but when it came to the ghost stories, they were vague and seemed fictitious. Perhaps it would have... More
