Nice opportunity to play disc golf course. Played in a scramble format. Fun and enjoyable! Not overly hard, designed layout is fair. Would look forward to another opportunity to play this course.

Everyone needs to play the first public course in Texas. Walk the fairways the great went down. Course was designed by Tillinghast (if you don't know look him up) and a "gooder". It was redone a few years ago & in nice shape. Do wonder about the square greens? It is narrow, not long but you need to be straight... More

"Old Brack", as the locals refer to it, is an historic golf course in San Antonio, Texas. It is an old-fashioned, tree-lined course that is sometimes quirky but always fun to play. Tremendous golf history has been forged through the years at Old Brack. It is a municipal golf course that anyone can play, but many of the greats of... More

Brackenridge offers 2 types of games...the front 9 is very tight with narrow fairways off the Tee, several holes with Bunkers not only on the sides but across the width of the fairway or in front of the entire Green..requiring solid wedges to raised Green. The back 9 is more wide open with 3 holes requiring careful wedge shots over... More

Lots of mature trees line this course, the oldest public one in Texas. Lots of strategically placed bunkers and elevated greens. Our round was severely marred by the loud, continuous roar of the highway along all of the back nine. We enjoy golf in part for the chance to,be outside and enjoy. Because of the noise, we won't be back.

My wife and I recently made a tee time on the recommendation of a friend! Our friend was so RIGHT when he said this is an outstanding course. The staff were most courteous, we got off right on time paired with a great guy who plays there often which was very helpful since we'd never played the course. The fairways... More

We are in SA for a golf vacation - golfing everyday no matter the weather. Our week was cold, cloudy and rainy. Our day at Brackenridge was no different but also windy. Brack is a very tight course with tree lined fairways and many bunkers. There weren't many golfers out the day we were there but balls were often in... More

I was traveling to San Antonio and friend suggest we play here. Overall I had good time. The weather was cloudy, windy and overcast which made for an exciting day, When you play as bad as I do you don't need mother nature making it harder. At least I had something to blame my bad play on. The course was... More

I was lucky to be able to book online for a 50% off tee time. It was great value! Right after i got off my car i saw the statue of Harvey Penick. I knew then i would like this golf course! Without spoiling your adventure for first timers, i am just going to say the condition of the course... More

Historic Tillinghast designed course built in 1916. Lovely course. A little pricey for a muni, but worth it for the experience.
