Our tour guide was excellent. He asked us before we started on the tour, if we wanted him to give us a little history of the landmarks or if we wanted to sit back and enjoy the ride. We told him tell us all he knew about downtown SA. He was very knowledgeable of the landmarks and kept us laughing... More

We went for a second tour in April 2014. We learned more history from our guide about the hotel we were staying at, then from the hotel workers. We did the researcher, it was all true. This driver was so good. I could of gone two or three more times, with this driver.

I was so excited for a night ride in a lighted pumpkin shaped carriage! I had been watching them for two days and we now had the time, lucky me! This was New Years Night so the River Walk was still all lite up for the holidays! We had a very nice driver and an amazing horse. She knew when... More

I love carriage tour at night in cities. I love the slow place, the pace, everything. So when I saw them in San Antonio Texas, I could hardly wait. I told the girl just talk give us all the history you know. It is our first time here. She was friendly, told about Roosevelt riding his horse into the hotel... More

My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our ghostly carriage ride. Our guide, Spike, was very knowledgeable about the local ghosts. He was friendly and personable. Ask for him as your guide if you come to San Antonio.

This tour is very romantic if you go at night and take the extended tour around the King William Area. Yes, it is expensive (about $200 for an hour plus tip to the driver), but you really get to see some beautiful historic homes in the old neighborhood. The driver did not give a tour...she asked if we wanted one... More

If I didn't have my 8 year old daughter along it would have been terrible. She loved riding in the carriage. The tour was $40 for 20 minutes. Most of the time you were looking at vacant buildings and homeless people. The tour mainly consisted of stories about ghost. Don't really believe in ghosts so that is worthless to us.... More

We have ridden the horse drawn carriages several times and we live in San Antonio. We enjoy the horse drawn carriage rides downtown San Antonio because it is romantic and informative because the drivers tell you about the buildings and ghosts. If you're downtown San Antonio you should definitely check them out by the Alamo. http://www.bluebonnetcarriage.com/
