More like a history walk

The tour guide is certainly nice enough but this is more like a history walk with some corny jokes. This is not scary and we didn't encounter any ghosts lol!

We have been on many ghost tours so I had to compare this one to past experiences. First, the brochure states that everyone will get an EMF meter, Digital Thermometer and dowsing rods. Everyone got the rods, but very few people got a meter or thermometer. The guide was unexciting (acted tired) so any stories she told were flat. Also,... More

We rsvp'd online before we went and paid when we got there. We even got a student discount. Our guide was great and kept us at a good pace, but it was sometimes hard to hear him. Maybe a mic would be a good investment. We loved walking around, seeing neat landmarks and hearing fun ghost stories.

This night "ghost tour" meets in front of the Alamo. You are given certain "ghost-seeking devices" and "energy readers" to search for ghosts and are told various tales of ghost-sightings in the area. You also walk to nearby buildings to hear spooky histories as well. It was pretty hokey but a neat experience.

ok y'all i think ghosts are fascinating, as well as stories and locations of hauntings, deaths, and strange occurences. but, in fact, i am not a child and don't find that my experience as an adult spirit seeker was enhanced by campy storytelling and sound effects. the guide was lovely don't get me wrong, but if youre trying to create atmosphere please... Toured with Robert. You could tell he really enjoys his job. Had a small group - think it was 8 of us, which made it easy to see and hear everything. Not extensive walking - went around a few blocks. Robert had some interesting stories to tell. Some of the others on the tour were really into ghosthunting to the... More

This was an okay Ghost hunt, more of a history lesson than an actual ghost hunt. Our guide was very funny but talked to much to do any real ghost hunting. too much noise for EVPs and not enought time in each location to do any investigating or even pictures without moving on to the next place. Great history of... More

I made my reservations online. I found it odd that I received no confirmation, but I used paypal and had a receipt. The day of the tour I called to confirm. I had to leave a message because no one seems to answer the phone. I arrived at the scheduled meeting place 35 minutes early after paying 10 dollars to... More

Eight of us showed up for this tour, and all we saw were two other disappointed customers. The tour guide never showed up; no one ever called to say the tour was cancelled; and no one called today to respond to all the voice mails we left last night. We were at the meeting spot thirty minutes early and left... More

We've taken ghost tours in the past in other cities and knew what to expect. Of course, many in the group had never been on a ghost tour. Some actually thought they were doing a actual investigation like what you would see in one if those paranormal reality shows. But of course we knew better. Robert's knowledge on the history...
