We traveled to Lackland for our daughter's graduation this weekend. We parked our fifth-wheel camper at the FamCamp on base, which was very convenient for the days they have base liberty. We were able to hang out in the comfort of "home" and relax in a quiet place, rather than the crowded BX. They do not take reservations, but we... More

Large base with new parade facility! The commissary and BX and pretty good too! Check out the new war dogs memorial if you are there! It's awesome!

Shopping at the base as a retiree is so exciting during the Christmas Season. I found excellent deals with name brands that my grands wanted for Christmas. Thanks BX for keep the tradition of BX Low Cost.

I was here for BMT Graduation. We ate at the Gateway Club and it was excellent. Everyone on base was friendly and welcoming. We also went to the on base mall was convenient and everything is spotless.

Happy to see my Airmen. Visited the BX, did a little shopping. Would have liked a larger air condition area for us to visit with our Airmen. Since we could not leave and wanted to spend every minute with him, activities were limited.

My son graduated from BMT this past weekend. What an amazing place. We stayed on base and the hotels were really nice. Just what we needed. Cool planes parked on street corners. Everyone so helpful.

Loved it. I am so happy I was able to see my nephew graduate. Its important to know how safe someone is and you showed us. Everything you did for the families to enjoy the graduation was great, even down to the bus rides to each graduation ceremony.

With graduations every weekend, the base knows how to cater to visiting families. They are quite busy with new trainees weekly and weekend even more so.
