Air Force graduation

Went to Lackland Air Force Base to see my nephew graduate as an airman from the Air Force. It was spectacular. This my first attendance at an air force graduation.

We had different events to attend for two days on base and then were there to pickup and drop off my grandson during his time off base. This is really a little city in itself and quite easy to get around. The only negative thing is most of the events were in the hot, muggy outdoors so bring your hats... More

Attended for my niece's Airman graduation. Like you'd expect from a military base, everyone is polite and professional and yields towards security. The commencement speaker (Colonel) was inspiring!

The general public cannot just slaunter down there and wander around. It is a closed, secured military base. Civilians must have a demonstrable reason for wanting to go there before the MPs will allow them on base.

If you ever have opportunity to see someone graduate from Basic Training, you should go! It is an amazing experience that will change your life! Thursdays there is the Airmen's Run and the Coin Ceremony. Friday is the actual graduation. It is an honor and a privilege!

Went to our Airman's graduation. It's was an awesome and very proud time for us all. Loved the base and the Gateway Buffet. Great time and memory and proud of our airman.

Was amazing..base was larger than we thought it would be..2 BX locations..the golf course was the perfect view of the city, the static displays were interesting. Very good experience to see our son graduate from the same base my father graduated from in the 1950s.

Been here many times. Went to ITT office to buy tickets for Six Flags since those morons don't offer military discount right there at the theme park. People at ITT office were great, courteous and informative.

This is a national treasure every American should visit. Learn the history before or after you visit. History comes alive when you see something like this and when the story is retold. Reverence by visitors was inspiring.
