The majestic Theater has been careful;ly restored to it's original splendor. It reminds me of the Paramount in Seattle, or a fine Broadway theater in New York. See an event or show here, and you'll also a trip back to the grand day of opulent theater. More

I was very impressed with the quality of the San Antonio ballet and San Antonio Symphony, both of which I saw at this great old theater. Ask an employee about the bent bar up on the Starlight Lounge . . . oooohhhhh More

This is one of the original theaters from WAY back! The staff work hard to maintain this historic building. More

We love visiting theatres when we travel so of course wanted to visit the Majestic. La Cage aux Folles was in town which added to the delight of the visit. The theatre is amazing example of Spanish fantasy design (I'm not a design or architecture intellect so don't know the proper terms). Sound and sight-lines are mixed - glad we... More

Walked by the theatre Friday morning, the 18th of May, and saw on the marquee that Lorretta Lynn was appearing on the 20th. Went to Box Office. Closed. Returned on the 18th. Box Office still closed. Returned on the 21st. Still closed. WTF? More

This is the small venue to watch and of the performing arts. Restored to its old glory it is a very interesting place to wait for the show to start. More

Loved Loretta Lynn and the theatre was breathtaking. I did not think twice to go on a Party weekend.I liked everything and could not think of a thing to complain about. More

I've seen many wonderful historic theaters, but this one is more than amazing. So incredibly ornate and imaginatively created. And, there's not a bad seat in the house. Find a show - any show - and just go. We saw La Cage, just off it's Broadway run, but there are a wide variety of music and theatrical shows in the... More

Love this spot. It has an old theater feel and still is not terribly pricy. I've seen several shows and performances here and every time I enjoy it. Its similar to the Paramount theater in Austin in that it was a central part of the community in its day. More

Do not miss seeing the inside of this theater. It is one of a kind and incredible. Balcony seats are fine, but steps very steep. Not the place for very high heels or unstable shoes. More
