A fun place to go to a show. Historical building with a great story in great condition. Sound in the auditorium is really good but not impressively great, and all the seats around me had a good view.

We walked to the Majestic Theatre and found a lovely restored building. We wish they would do tours during the day to see inside, but looks like only open when having shows.

Great for photos, outside or inside the theater, but make sure to look at the seating chart! I wound up getting "nosebleed" section seats (second to the last row in the balcony) and could barely make out the actors in Beauty and the Beast. Still, one of the best classic historic theatres in San Antonio.

If you get a chance to see a show at the Majestic Theatre, the building itself will give you as much pleasure as the Broadway-style performance you will see there. It's one of the great old theatres left in the country and makes the time there a very special event.

Beautiful place and they always have the best shows. There is also plenty of things to do around it before or after the show.

This has always been my favorite Theatre--the ceiling is so beautiful to look at and the entire inside is so ornate and detailed--These days there is such a wide variety of shows that can be seen there, that it is easier to visit more often and enjoy a great show!

I grew up in San Antonio when this was a true movie theater, and it was so unique that I wanted my husband to see it. When I saw that a Beach Boys concert was going to be held there, it was my opportunity to give my husband a birthday present of a concert he wanted to see in the... More

My wife and I saw the Beach Boys (10/8/14) and had a terrific time at a terrific venue. The theater and staff are top-notch and there are few bad seats in the house (wide left and right orchestra down front can have set obstructions). Mike Love commented before signing an acapella cover of The Four Freshmen what a great venue... More
