I have been to the Majestic Theater to see plays and musical reviews. It is a GREAT venue. Ornate, comfortable, and in many ways nostalgic. Don't care what you see, but you must go at least once to experience the theater itself. First time I went I thought it had an open roof vice a ceiling of stars.

My sweetie and I went to two Widespread Panic shows in July at the Majestic. If you know Panic crowds, they're a great bunch of fun-lovin' folks; generally, polite/respectful of personal and public space(s), and who like to imbibe in a cocktail or two, etc, etc...come on: it's a Panic show! Anyway, I'm rabbit-trailing here, but want to say that... More

I have loved going to the Majestic Theatre, since I was a child. Now it is limited to special performances and is no longer a movie theatre. The ceiling is a panorama of imagination with twinkling lights and even a peacock. It is a lovely experience, so buy a ticket and enjoy it.

Had season tickets this past season. Too much going for us but enjoyed the theater. We enjoyed the shows. Staff could be a bit more strict on allowing people to be seated after curtain rises, though.

We succeeded to watch the broadway show "Mamamia" here ! Our daughters were not only astonished by the magnificent show, but also shocked by the beauty and charm of the Theatre herself.

I saw a concert at the Majestic and the warm feeling I got when I entered kept me feeling wonderful all night. In fact, I enjoyed the magnificent architecture and decorations so much I left the auditorium so that I would be able to join a private tour of the facility. ....and what a treat it was. The facility and... More

The thing about the Majestic Theatre is that you have to buy a ticket to one of the performances to see the inside I wish they had structured tours to take tourists to see it without having to commit to a production. It was built in 1929 and is one of the last of it's kind. The architecture inside is... More

This was our first time to this venue. We saw Bill Medley (Righteous Brothers) and his concert was really great especially if you have gray hair. All the old classics plus some newer stuff. The venue was very nice. For once was not stuffed in a seat with no place to put my legs. I am 6'3" so most of... More
