I've been to this park multiple times to go geocaching with my brother and nephews. There are a lot of cool trails, the scenery is beautiful, and the park is pretty clean and well maintained. There's also a multitude of level 1 and 2 geocaches hidden throughout the park for those interested.

This park has several miles of paved hike and bike trails that wind in and out of the trees in this almost 200-acre park. Most of the trails are shaded. There's a playground for the kids, picnic areas and adequate parking. You can frequently see deer and other wildlife.

My husband and I have been bike riding there for a couple of months now, and it's just beautiful! Great trails for beginners and the experts alike! Paved bike/walk paths, and off road bike paths. The off road are tons of fun, but you should have a bit of biking experience before you try them. If not, you'll just be... More

McAllister is a park for young and old. Young children's play grounds, Baseball and Soccer fields, running trails over 10 miles of either paved or trail runs. Bicycle riding either trail or commuter plus a direct access to San Antonio trails system. Picnic grounds, BBQ pits picnic areas it is all here.

Tons of stuff to do. Great equipment, nice dog park, several different sporting fields, trails, and playgrounds. Nice pavilions. Only downside: it's like any other park... Beware of creeps. Watch your kids. Watch out for yourself, even in broad daylight. Don't be complacent.

Awesome single track trails. Deer everywhere. 5 star. Easy to get lost but after pedaling for 10 minutes you'll figure it out.

McAllister Park is a great place to just get away and really do everything except enjoy the water. Bike, hike, play soccer, volleyball, baseball, bike either casual or off road on your mountain bike. Grill on a beautiful Sunday afternoon or really any day while just kicking back to enjoy this beautiful park.

extensive trails through lovely wooded terrain. You are sure to see Deer along the way as well as various birds and small mammals. The kids love to take the trail that runs parallel to the golf driving range fence. It is very much like an Easter egg hunt :-)

McAllister Park is one of those places where you're in the city but feel like you're in the country when you're on the trails. It's great for walking, biking, running, and picnicking. I love to walk and see the wildlife ... deer, raccoons, armadillos, rabbits etc. There is also a dog park inside of McAllister Park. Like with any secluded... More
