This tour is a fun way to spend an evening in San Antonio. Equipment us provided to make the tour more interactive; I especially enjoyed playing with the dowsing rods. I learned a lot about the general history of San Antonio as well as the darker side of the city's history. In fact, I was inspired to visit a few... More

JR was the best ghost tour guide ever! Being on this tour was like being transported to the 1980s movie, Ghostbusters! We even got to point a dowsing rod at a Yeti!!

My friend and I signed up for the trip last minute and glad we did, it was the funnest part of our trip in San Antonio. JR was a great guide and you can tell he is very knowledgeable. Didn't see any ghosts but the dowsing rods were fun to play with and we learned alot about the history of... More

I had a great experience with Alamo Ghost Hunt Tours. The tour was fun and had great facts and history about San Antonio. I posted a very detailed review but it was rejected by trip advisor because i posted a link to a short film in my review. The short film is called Los Espiritus de San Antonio just type... More

While we didn't see in ghosts, this was a nice way to get a history tour. Karen was our guide and she was full of knowledge of the area..lots of walking, so wear your walking shoes and bring a bottle of water with you..as it's still hot at 9:00 PM. Not sure I would do this again, but glad I... More

I have taken this tour again & again. I go back because it's fun and interesting. And we get so much historical information, I can't remember it all. I also go back again & again because I bring friends/family with me to experience it for themselves. It is because of the info on this tour, that I learned about the... More

We really enjoyed this tour. The information you learn on this tour is great. I learned more about the Alamo being moved and its different locations then I did at the Alamo it's self. 5 in all. We all had ghost hunting equipment, it was very nice to use the equipment on the tour. They pass out dowsing rods first... More

I took this tour last week with my family and found it to be average. Some of the stories were interesting and it is fun to play with the laser pointer, but unless you really believe in ghosts I doubt you will be very impressed. The tour guide certainly knows his history, so if you are a history buff like... More

First of all, the tour has nothing to do with the Alamo. And it's a stretch even if you might believe in ghosts. Bottom line: don't bother.

Well here is something amazing this review and the one below have a lot of similarities. One would be they are both from Denver and the reviews were written on the same day one after the other. What are the chances of that? You can read my reply to the review below to see if you want to trust this... More

The tour started across the street from the Alamo and that was the last we heard about it, even though the name of the tour is "Alamo Ghost Hunt". We did have the EMF equipment and learned how to use it, but never needed it. The guide told some good stories, but I thought the dowsing demonstration was a time... More

This review states a few things that are simply untrue. Like the statement below. A few years ago I went on a different ghost tour in San Antonio which spent a lot of time at the cemetery and the Alamo - where the EMF equipment actually was useful. This tour was more of a walking tour with stories -not ghost... More
