Our guide was Karen. She is full of stories and experiences. Our group was small enough that we each had an electronic device to detect a "change" in atmosphere, e.g., EMF detector and/or temperature gauge. We also got to use a dowsing rod. All was fun and entertaining and Karen was very knowledgeable with the local history too. Needless to... More

This walk is indeed a HUNT and not a storytelling tour. No stories about particular 'ghosts'; several stories about deaths and one near fatal injury. Nice little walk but guide often commented, "Three blocks from here there used to be a..." or "You're standing eight blocks away from where X happened..." leaving me to wonder why we didn't walk to... I went here last year for the first time and I would honestly have to admit that I had a complete blast! You do not have to have children to have fun while going on the tour ! Highly recommended

We always enjoy going on ghost tours in older cities rich with history and stories of being haunted. On our most recent trip to San Antonio we thought we would give it a shot. First of all, in response to management on the last review, our tour also started at Ripleys, which is really right across the street from the... More

If this tour started at 9:30pm as you said. Our tour does not start at 9:30 it starts at 9:00pm and always has this is on our brochures and our website. If people are getting on a tour at 9:30pm this isn't us. Many tours start in the plaza, more than one tours that starts after we have already left.... More

I went on the 9pm tour with my husband and my friend. We had about 20 people or so in our group. The tour lasted around 90 minutes. We paid cash at the meeting location. It was $15 per person plus an extra $1 for tax. Our tour guide was JR. He wasn't too friendly, but he wasn't rude either.... More

We started at the Alamo at 930pm, but ended about 3 miles away from our hotel (the Emily Morgan) in downtown San Antonio at about midnight. They don't tell u that your on your own getting back, so my husband & i had no idea. Walking around downtown SA late at night isn't exactly fun, & was scarier than the... More

It would be nice to know whose tour you were really on. Seeing our tour does not start in front of the Alamo and it doesn’t start at 9:30pm either. Plus our tour only takes 90 min. not 3 hours and we do not start our tour out by passing out emf meters or dowsing rods. This is done about... More

My tour guide was JR. He was very informative and had some great stories. Walking around to all of the destinations and hearing the history and stories about them was great. I had a lot of fun when he gave us divining rods and asked someone there name and had everyone's rod point to that person. Really cool.
