La Villita is a collection of quaint, interesting stores, nestled together in a village-like atmosphere. You can shop, eat, and relax in various places at La Villita. It's a pleasant refuge from the noise and the bustle of the Riverwalk. The easiest and quickest way to enter La Villita is to take the stairs right across the river from the... More

I went to La Villita a couple times while in San Antonio. It is a great place to walk around, day or night. Loved the little old buildings and there are some neat shops. Lots of artists and Mexican imports. Shout out to ScentChips where I bought lots of good smelling stuff. Loved it! More

I did not want to go here when my mom and gram mentioned it. How glad am I that they forced me. I got a gorgeous ring and really enjoyed seeing the local art. It's walking distance to the River Walk and the tower of the Americas. More

The studios tend to come and go over the years, but there is always interesting artwork to view and pottery to buy. This is adjacent to the river walk and any visitor from out of town should stop in. Keep in mind that Saturdays are much better than Sundays--for some reason a lot of shops are closed on Sunday. More

La Villita is along the riverwalk in San Antonio, but it is not at river level. If you are walking along the river you will see signs directing you up to the La Villita section (and the staircases are pretty amazing and picturesque too!) This village has many little shops all featuring art of some kind. Some of the stores... More
