I have played this course since it was built over 20 years ago and the infestation of so many homesites has eliminated the former rural and pristine ambiance of this course. We played here in late March on a warm Spring day, the pace of play was terrible because there are no marshalls on the course. There was no one... More

I played this very nice course in San Antonio with three buddies. We played on a Friday afternoon and were sandwiched between a tournament that was ending and one that was just starting. There is quite a bit of distance between holes and it is quite hilly so walking the course is definitely not an option. However, even in golf... More

Service was excellent and the pace of play was OK. despite the recent rain the course was very playable. Will go back. Fairways were smooth and the greens slightly slow but fair.

With all the frills upon it this Easter buffet was a nice spread of meats, vegetables, and cheeses not to mention the desserts or bottomless chapagne and mimosas. With the adult beverages, the price of the meal was comparable to places that still serve a champagne buffet for holidya occassions. The club house is a great woodsey (and golfey) location,... More

Great course, well maintained an helpful staff. Leave your ego at home and choose your clubs wisely off the tee. The only thin keeping it from being a 5 was the fact that the driving range was closed til noon on Thursday!

Played the course Tuesday the 29th. It's in excellent condition. Fairway are well groomed and the greens are fast. Be sure to keep your ball in the fairway, the rough is treacherous. Brings some extra balls, once you hit one in the rough, finding it will be difficult. I'll be playing there again soon.

I got married here in February and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the staff amazing and the grounds were breath taking. Highly recommend!

If the US Open has thick second cuts then this course should over qaulify. If you can't hit straight you are DONE! The grass in most cases is waist high right off the fiarway and terribly thick, thanks to the rian this year. So drive or not to drive that will be the question on many fairways and once you...
