This is one of our favors places to go in the hill country. The course is fun but you can tell the drought has played a roll in this course. The greens still ok but not great and not sure why Troon is not managing this course.

Played in a tournament at this course last Saturday (Oct. 3). This is a scenic course and is challenging. Overall course conditions were good. The ground is very hard is some places, but greens held the ball and ran smooth and fast. The men's locker room was huge and well appointed with lounge area, locker room, and showers. We had... Course could be in great shape later on in the year. When you first pull up you think its going to be a great course. Range is lush and green. Then you get to the first tee box....turn back while you can. As of now, save your money. Greens are terrible. Again, terrible. I was told not to putt on... More

This really isn't San Antonio; it is 30 miles north west at Boerne, TX and it is the Hill Country. Almost 4 miles off I-10 and you find a beautiful setting in a valley surrounded by gorgeous homes. The golf course is challenging enough to keep you on your toes but you can't help gawking at the scenery. The clubhouse... More

Our march 22nd wedding at tapatio was awesome!! Kelly, Vernon, Dan and all of the staff were the best I have ever seen anywhere!! They all went out of their way to make me and all of our guests comfortable and happy. The rooms were fantastic, the grounds beautiful, food fabulous, and views amazing. When I woke up to rain... We stopped in at Tapatio Springs just to play golf. The pro shop was glad to give us a tee time on the next day, as the day we reserved was just too cold! We arrived early to play, but the starter got us off quickly. Although there were plenty of divots around, it was an interesting and quite challenging... More

We went to golf facility to inquiring about joining. I had been a member about 30 years ago. The facilities have changed for the better. It is a beautiful serene area. They have put a lot of money into the club house. We at at the restaurant in the club. The views were very peaceful. We were also introduced to... More

Tapatio Springs Resort is a great place to relax. Although it is a golf resort, non-golfers like me will still find the place a fantastic vacation spot. Close to San Marcos and San Antonio. George Strait must be proud of this property. He is not only a great artist, he is also an impressive property developer. Staff at check in,... More

Was my first visit, and they've earned a repeat customer. The customer service was superb -- at check-in, at the pro shop, at the restaurant and at the bar. I hope the same attendants are there next year. As for the golf course, the drought has deeply affected the many ponds and creeks; but the course was in very good... More

The surrounding Hill Country is a treat and this is right down the road from historical Boerne. Take in a round of golf and some great food and you will have a unique and delightful road trip if you are heading in from downtown San Antonio.
