We had a great time. It probably wouldn't have been as enjoyable if we hadn't had our kids with us, but still very entertaining. There were 3 floors with plenty of things to see and interact with. The museum was well kept and the exhibits were interesting and presented well. Of all the things we wasted money on during this... More

We visited on Feb,7th 2015. It was 3 floors. I didn't enjoy it that much. May be if we had kids with us we might have enjoyed. The 4D theater was fun. & saw the wax musem. Felt that the price we paid of $58.43 for 2 seniors was quite exprensive.

Thank you for your recent visit and your review of our attractions. We do offer a 3-way combo ticket that is deeply discounted. If you were to see each attraction individually, it would be $20.99 per attraction so that's why we offer the discount if you purchase either 2 or 3 of our attraction tickets. We do pride ourselves on... More

Ripley's has some cool sights to see & lots of "fun facts" you may find interesting. I enjoyed it until about the halfway point. By then, the flashing lights, cacophony of music & sounds & black-painted rooms really started to get to me. It was major sensory overload & I started feeling dizzy, nauseous, & developed a migraine. There is... More

It's a fun place to walk through especially if you have children. They like to see quirky stuff. If you are traveling to San Antonio, see the Riverwalk of course, see The Alamo a must but to make a day of it, stroll around and stop in to see Ripley's.

We visit San Antonio every year, and always stop for a visit at the wax museum. Our family really enjoys the journey through the different displays. Do purchase the combo ticket. Try to go right when they open to beat the crowds. This year I enjoyed the opportunity for photos with the displays. I also like the fact that the... More

We came to see the Alamo, which was cool, but went through Ripley wax works and a number of the attractions. They are showing their age but worth a visit although $22 per attraction was pricey. I think there were 5 or 6 attractions some very short so not great value for money. Hard to justify a family of 4... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I noticed that you paid $22 per attraction. We do offer a combination ticket to visit 2 of our attractions and that price is $23.99. From your comments it looks like you did visit both our Ripley's Believe It or Not! and Louis Tussaud's Wax Works. It is our sincere... More

I've been to many Ripley's Odditoriums in different cities and I found this one to be one of the best ones, because it was quite large, it went through several stories. As usual, it has all kinds of different exhibits and interesting facts, also some visual illusions. I would say it's worth a visit.

There were two short (each about 5 minutes long) movies included in the ticket - Rats Race and Winter Wipeout. It was decent with all the moving chairs and water splashing in your face and wind blowing etc, but not the best 4D cinema I've experienced. The chairs weren't as coordinated with the movies as I would've liked, most of... More

I've been to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museums several times and compared to them this museum was a huge letdown. Firstly, half of the exhibits in the museum weren't even wax figures of celebrities or anyone "real". A lot of them were just fairytale characters or historical figures from far back. There was also a "horror" floor in there, which was... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us regarding your visit to our Wax Museum. Not much to this, I would stretch to call it average. Most of the dummies had a passing resemblance to the famous people they're supposed to be. Not good value for money.
