Description: There are two things just about every child in San Antonio has done...
There are two things just about every child in San Antonio has done — visited Brackenridge Park and taken a ride on the Brackenridge Eagle Miniature Train. It'll take you on a scenic tour of the park, so you can rest your feet and enjoy the ride. It is also one of the longest miniature train rides in the world, covering 3.2 miles of track and taking guests to many stops around the park such as the zoo, sunken gardens, and the Witte Museum.

My 5 year old is obsessed with trains when he seen this heating mediately wanted to go on the train. It was only a few dollars to ride the train but it took you around to places I don't even know what's around the zoo. I'll definitely be visiting this again if we end up in San Antonio this is... ...of ALL ages but the younger ones will find this 3-mile ride especially fun. While at Brackenridge Park, please do not miss the (Chinese/Japanese) Tea Garden. It really is quite spectacular.

We took a ride on the train today. It's about a 20-minute ride through Brackenridge Park. There are a few stops along the way to get out and enjoy other things in the area before you get back on the train and head back to the zoo. My 2-year old daughter had a great time! That's what matters most to... More

The day we went, it rained & by rain I mean FLOODED. My friend & I were headed back to the car with our 2 girls in a wagon, in the pouring rain & a guy that works there gave us his umbrella because he said we needed it more than he did. I do want to go back in... More

Great to do in combination with the zoo or alo e. I went with my 7 year old and 20 month old sons on a trip to the zoo. Will do next time even if we dont go to the zoo. Less than $10.

Perfect for a family outing. Loved how the train made stops to allow for enjoying the area before getting back on. Could improve this feature by having a time schedule at each drop off so you know when the next train will be arriving. Not knowing what time to expect the next train can be hard for those of toddler... More

A great attraction to do along with the children when visiting the San Antonio Zoo! Children love trains, and it's fun for adults too!

came here with my sister's kids and they really enjoyed it. one thing they could do to attract even a higher number of visitors is to have some adult activities as well. something for both age groups would go a long way!!

Nice little activity to do with a young one. Train travels slow enough to take in the scenery and our daughter enjoyed it.
