There are two things just about every child in San Antonio has done — visited Brackenridge Park and taken a ride on the Brackenridge Eagle Miniature Train. It'll take you on a scenic tour of the park, so you can rest your feet and enjoy the ride. It is also one of the longest miniature train rides in the world, covering 3.2 miles of track and taking guests to many stops around the park such as the zoo, sunken gardens, and the Witte Museum.

My son's favorite

Came here a lot of times I lost count. My son loves Thomas the train so we took him here often. The train ride takes about 20-25 minutes through the park.

Took my 2 yr old grandson to ride this train. He loves trains and we knew he would like this one too. We were not disappointed. This train has been a mainstay in San Antonio forever it seems like. It looks as good today as when my kids were little. The trains are well maintained and you can tell that... More

Kids (both under age 5) loved it. It's 15 minute ride and the conductor is fairly entertaining. It makes 4 stops at Witte and Kiddie Park so I'd suggest making a trip part of a larger visit.

Great way to start the day. We did it before entering the zoo. It was.only a few dollars per person. We enjoyed the ride. It was maybe 20 minutes long. My ten year old had fun. The conductor was funny and entertaining.

I have loved this since I was a little girl. Engineers are awesome, beautiful scenery, fun for kids of all ages. Longer than any other mini train I have ever ridden, love hearing that clickety clack of the rails.

This park was my favorite place to go as a kid! Now it was my turn to share it with our daughter, she loved it as much as I do! The zoo is still as awesome.

We took the train with our 6 & 8 year old boys, as our whole family loves train rides! The scenery in Brackenridge Park is really lovely, and it's nice to get on and off the train at its stops. We visited the Japanese Tea Garden and took a good hike before getting back on board for our return trip.... More

Right by the San Antonio Zoo, this train, not a tiny one but not a huge full-scale train, is a perfect size for children. The adults can ride too and the price is perfectly reasonable. Be sure to stop for a pic by the train before or after your ride. The conductor is fine with this!
