I like walking here during the day. It is very pretty. The place is close to down town. If I remember the is a nice river that you can see.

So what was it you wanted to do? Museums, zoos, gardens, a walk in the park...well look no further. Here's one of the crown jewels of San Antonio and part of what makes it such an amazing city to visit. What's more, the VIA Trolleys can get you from downtown to the park and then they'll chauffeur you from one... More

Great place to take pictures, picnic and playgrounds are great for kids and grown ups alike. Train is fun and kiddie park is in the area, small amusement park for little ones, has been there forever!

Took some of my engagement pictures here. A very nice park. Trails are very easy and safe. Bring plenty of water.

Brackenridge is a Park San Antonians use for many family gatherings. It is a good size and there are many entrances so if you're not from the area you don't realize just how big it really is. For our mini family reunion we claimed an area under a gorgeous mature oak tree that offered great shade for around 40 of... More

Brackenridge Park has long been a favorite of the locals. The city continues the upkeep and I am grateful for this. Everyone will love this park. I just wish they would bring the horses back.

the train ride is a must...picnics are a must too! Go early to reserve your place otherwise you won't find an empty picnic table available

We have not spent much time in Brackenridge Park recently, but decided to spend an hour walking the trails last Sunday. The City has done quite a bit of improvements in the park. We walked the loop twice. It was very pleasant, and encouraging to see so many families out and about!
