Brackenridge Park is just lovely. I could just sit there for hours and listen to the wind and watch the train go by. Even my young son could not resist its pull and sat by the river just to watch the ducks swim by.

Great place to excersise, to see nature, people, animals, it's a great place and we'll secure by security and clean for the most part, just don't go on July 4th seems people get messy in that time

Awesome park to explore with a date or little ones. We took the miniature train around the park from the zoo and had a great time. The conductor / tour guide was very good and seemed to love his job. Great time for kids and a really unique thing to do. Also right near the tea gardens which are great... More

The park houses the zoo and the train -- both are loads of fun. as is the Japanese garden. there is lots of space for adventure and outdoor games as well.

My first visit to this Park since I moved to San Antonio just under 3 years ago. I enjoy running and I can see that there are many trails in which you can walk, hike or run. I also love the fact that it is bordering the zoo which allows you to enjoy all of the birds that fly back... More

This is a large beautiful park with an area for everyone. We saw couples having a picnic, playgrounds with kids, large family reunions in pavilions, multiple trails and picnic tables. We spent 3 days roaming the park and enjoying the day use areas. There are busy areas and secluded area, manicured areas and ares that were overgrown, they had pavilions... More

There's literally something for just about everyone in or directly around this park. From the Witty Museum to the San Antonio Zoo. It would be easy to spend a few days here and conveniently enough you can actually camp IN the park to do it not that I have, I usually visit the park in the evenings with my lightsaber... More

Brack is alway so crowded during Easter. But it is a great time to go if your young and want to party. I enjoy it during the other quieter times.

Every great city has a wonderful park at it's heart. This is San Antonio's. The sum is greater than it's parts. This is another place you can go to several times and not repeat yourself. That's one of the things I love about the town. Well loved by natives and tourists.
