We had a Sunday morning to fill and headed to Brackenridge Park to waste a few hours and it was worth the visit. It was a lovely spring day which made being outside pleasant which obviously added to the enjoyment. When we first arrived there was a huge amount of litter that had been left over from the BBQ's that... More

Did not spent a lot of time but kids had a great time. Lots of shade, running trail, fields to play, many grills, and lots to see.

Had read several reviews prior to visiting. I think my expectations were too high. Good golf course – fun holes – medium challenging. Club rentals – – not so good!

Remember to bring food for the wildlife, there are several wildlife living at the park, several geese, birds and squirrels. I work very close and I enjoy walking around the park and just enjoying the view!

This is a lovely park to visit in the fall if moderate temperature are more to your liking. We visited in early November when the high was in the mid-70's. The San Antonio Zoo located in the park is accessible to all and even has a butterfly garden and small but delightful aquarium. The train ride covers two miles of... More

Brackenridge Park, a couple of miles north of downtown, has lots to offer: beautiful trails for walking or biking, a river with ducks to feed, an adjacent golf course and a mini-train that takes families through the park. It's a large, lovely oasis in the midst of homes and businesses.

Great park, lots to do. You can picnic, ride the train -- GREAT for kids! There's one section where the road runs through the water - find that -- the kids love that! And the San Antonio Zoo is amazing! Also the Japanese Sunken Gardens are nice.

Visited with my family (children are 1 and 3). Rode the Brackenridge Eagle train and enjoyed the hop-on hop-off option. Park is beautiful. Made for a wonderful afternoon.

I can walk, exercise, and/or merely meditate on the beauty of nature. It's definitely an awe invoking place to go. :) Sitting by the water away from the path is very enjoyable! I loved it, and I still love going! Definitely will go again, most likely tomorrow

This is a wonderful family park. You can bike ride, park the car have a picnic along the river. It is a must do at least once while you are in San Antonio. I enjoyed riding thru the park. It is located next to the Witte Museum and San Antonio Zoo.
