This is a must see for anyone visiting san Antonio. There are lots of restaurants right along the water to enjoy and a huge mall at one end of the Riverwalk. At night the walk is lit up by the lights of the restaurants and is very scenic. Take a boat tour if you have time. It's very informative and... More

After hearing about it forever, we finally traveled to San Antonio to see the Alamo and the Riverwalk. How wonderful when something is better than expected! The Riverwalk is lovely, clean, and replete with wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed the very reasonably priced boat tour so much that we rode it twice! If you have been thinking of going to see... The Riverwalk is always a great place to visit. The atmosphere is festive and a nice place to have a couple of drinks. It will be touristy but everyone needs to go there and check it out. The place is good for families but it can get rowdy at night. Christmas is beautiful too!

What a romantic place for a walk and dinner. There are lots of great restaurants. Don't miss the boat ride to learn a lot about San Antonio. Beware of the tourist traps!

The River Walk is a definite must in San Antonio. Filled with shops and restaurants and beautiful landscaping. The River Walk has been extended and is worth the time to just walk even if you don't eat or buy something. I live here.

If you want to eat or drink, the Riverwalk is just the ticket. For a family with pre-teens, you could skip the Riverwalk and be just fine visiting San Antonio

The River Walk has been much improved with many gardens, wider and newer sidewalks, and I did not see one piece of trash. Nice Job, San Antonio

It is definitely unique and quaint. Did not do the boat ride but it looked fun. We ate at Rita's on the River which was delicious. And a Texas BBQ place another day. Definitely worth the visit.
