VISIT THE RIVER WALK

We took a actual tour for River Walk and it tour gave a good overview. River Walk is easy to find and you can do lots of walking or just short jaunt. Places to eat along the way.

The Riverwalk is a must visit when in San Antonio. Lots of great restaurants line the river and the boat trip is both interesting and entertaining. There is plenty of shade as well which is useful on a warm day.

This area is very interesting, loaded with shops and restaurants of all kinds, German, Mexican, American, Italian. Boat ride around the river with history lesson on the old and new buildings. April is FESTA time from the 1st through the 3rd week. Parades, dancing, music, fireworks. It was wonderful how there is city wide participation. FUN for the whole family.

Just vacationed in San Antonio recently and stayed at a hotel right on the Riverwalk. Wife and I had been here briefly about 19 yrs ago before children. We had such fond memories and had always wanted to come back someday. Now we have an 18yr old and 14 yr old. We brought them both and visited the Riverwalk each... More

I know loads of people say this is wonderful, but it's just shops and places to eat. It is not good for anyone who has mobility issues. Lots of stairs and tight places. That being said it is very pretty and the city has done a wonderful job at promoting it. There needs to be better signage and maps to... More

Shops, bars, great food and music. What else would you want? Enjoyed my whole time there. The river walk boat meals are great.

Impressing tourism set-up to explore San Antonio. Resturants, stores, sites, were all accessible and interesting. At times walk ways were a little crowded. We did Easter Service on the Riverwalk which was spectacular!

We came to town unaware that San Antonio was celebrating the Fiesta Festival. It started on April 16th, and continues through April 26th. My first concern was crowds, but it never was a problem. There were lots of folks mind you, but traffic moved steadily. It was exciting too see all the festivities. We enjoyed all the boats packed with... More

The River Walk of San Antonio is as unique in it's content as it is in quality. By far my Favorite Restaurant is Casa Rio. My Family,Guests, Friends and myself have enjoyed plenty of meals in this tremendous atmosphere over the years. Pick a mild day and sit at a waterside table. Enjoy the ducks and fish , while enjoying... More

We loved walking around the RiverWalk. It's beautiful and green, although the water is a pretty murky. Restaurants all around, the ones we ate at were really good but a little expensive. BIRDS EVERYWHERE. Just be aware of this. They are not shy about getting up close for a tortilla chip.
