Such a lovely aspect of this city, unexpected when you don't know it's there. It's beautiful, be sure to take some gorgeous shots. The shopping centre at one end is lovely too, provides a beautiful spot hidden away.

Didn't know this existed before visiting San Antonio but it is lovely, we stayed at Market square and walked the few blocks to the river walk, it was very hot but manageable. Buses aren't expensive but you need correct change. River walk is such a nice change to find in the middle of a city, very picturesque and great choice... More

We came to San Antonio for a long anniversary weekend in late March. The weather could not have been better - - upper 70's during the day, and 55-60 at night. Strolling the Riverwalk in all directions was very interesting and relaxing (out of the main area). Taking the river north out of the downtown district is a really nice... More

They have really done a lot to the River Walk. I love this place, could spend the day there, everyday! There are a wide variety of places to eat. The boat ride alone was worth the trip. You should visit here.

Join the fun and enjoy the beauty of the river walk. It is full of friendly folks enjoying each others company and good food along the way! It's energizing to walk from one end of walk to the other past shops, hotels and restaurants. However, it is most enjoyable to ride the boats down the river!

I absolutely love all the ducks in the water and on the walkways. The Riverwalk does photograph beautiful so don't forget your camera. It is a must to visit while in San Antonio because it never disappoints

We had heard so much about the Riverwalk and we weren't disappointed. It's a great vacation destination, We took the boat ride and it was well worth it. Lots of great picture opportunities.

We were expecting a paved walk down by a river with plants and waterbirds, but got a crowded brightly lit tourist trap! It was a Saturday night and Spring Break, so was really horrible for us. Next morning we went back to the Riverwalk and could see that we had hit the Loop part the night before and that the... More

You can take the tour on one of those boats and have fun, while listening to great stories of the city of San Antonio, you can hop off and hop on at any point and enjoy a great meal at one of the many restaurants you´ll find trough the River Walk. There are so many options, it will be hard... More

Very cool and it's a must see. We took the boat ride and it was neat! We took the double decker bus tour and they gave us a free boat ride.
