We went to the Doseum with a 3, 4, and 6 year old. The arrived right when the museum opened and had no problem finding (free) parking. We are members of the Perot Museum in Dallas, so we were able to use a reciprocity agreement to get into the Doseum for free with our membership cards. This is definitely a... More

We took our daughter and it cost $11 to take her into a small area just for kids under the age of 5 to play which is on the pricey side in my opinion. They are only open to 6 PM which sucks if both parents wanted to go. However, if you bought the membership and went at least 4... More

I went with a friend and her 3 kids. There is a lot to do and the kids seemed to get into all the activities and had a great time. The museum is not 100% completed yet as there are a few sections under construction and not opened yet which was disappointing. My only real complaint is that it was... More

This is the largest children's museum we have ever visited. There seemed to be a very wide range of activities within each exhibit that would be suitable for children of several different ages. We got there when they opened the doors, but it got very crowded after the first hour. We spent about 3 hours there, and still did not... More

We had a great time today. I have a 6 year old and a 10 year old. We had so much to do we came in the morning went for lunch and came back in the afternoon! My kids could have spent 2 mores hours in the Spy area if I would have let them. Just a note when you... More

I thought the price was a bit high, even with the discount we qualified for. But it was well worth the cost. Very interactive. Our fave was the creek outside. Pros: Exhibits/attractions for all ages Good for burning energy with gross motor skill activity Shaded outdoor playground, water play, creek, parklike walks Lot of volunteers/workers Cons: Treehouse not open yet... We took our grandkids to the Doseum and they just loved it. There are so many things to do. If you tried to do everything you'd have to go 2 days. They had such a great time playing in the outdoor area which has many things to climb on and a big water area with all kinds of ways to... More

I have been to several museums for children throughout the country, and I can honestly say this is one of the best. I'm so happy San Antonio now has a class act museum that is well planned and maintained, and appeals to kids of all ages. Great variety of activities, lots of space and friendly, helpful staff.

Kind of boring we visited before they opened the new Kid Museum so we are hoping the new one is better.
