Location: The children's museum is located in the heart of downtown which is a great thing and a not so great thing. We payed 12 dollars for the parking lot closest to it and my husband and I thought it was a little pricey. But there is street parking if your ok with all the traffic going by. We are... More

Some children's museums are truly nothing special. This is the best one we've been to. Clean, well run, help staff, lots of creative and different things. Only criticism is that the aviation exhibit Ned's a refresh. Otherwise, the kids loved it and didn't want to leave after three hours. That's saying something good.

I took my niece here a few months ago, as well as a few friends tagging along. Every single one of us had a blast here! There is so much to do, play with and look at, that you will lose track of time while in here.

We started our day here cos it opened early. There was literally NO ONE ELSE HERE when we arrived 10 mins after opening! There was plenty to keep a 7yo and 2.5yo busy for 90 minutes or so! Lots of fun!

We visited with our 4 and 2 year olds. The 4 year old spent 4 hours and didn't want to leave. A real plus for parents is the downtown location; we were able to play for 2 hours and then walk out for lunch on Houston street; after lunch we returned for more as tickets are good all day. We... More

Where do you take children for some entertainment and exercise? One sure way to thrill most youngsters and get them moving is with a visit to a children’s museum and San Antonio has one that the kiddos should like. It’s the San Antonio Children’s Museum and it’s located very close to the Riverwalk in downtown, walking distance away from many... More

My son absolutely loved his time at the museum. He could have stayed there all day, but unfortunately we had nap times to contend with! His favorite features were the trolley, airplane, grocery store and imagination playground/building area. However, some things were broken or not open and we did have a hard time finding someone to help us (example, the... More

My son enjoyed playing in the airplane, the grocery story and milking the cow. A lot of the exhibits appeared to be on its last leg and didn't really entertain him. It looks like they need to sink a little money in the place and upgrade it a little. I don't think it was worth the money

The purpose of the museum is very good. Some of the attractions were excellent. Sadly some of them needed basic maintenance, which is crucial when it comes to children`s interest and learning. Our 3 years old grand daughter found interesting activities and avoided everything that was destroid or didn`t function. We spent several hours there.

The place is filthy! I'm not generally a clean freak but this place is disgusting. I can't imagine all the germs on these kids body's! I saw a man cleaning with a swiffer mop, but this place needs a disinfectan! It's a fun place but in major need of a cleanliness upgrade.
