There are several types of walking tours in Salem. I specifically choose this tour because it wasn't a 'ghost tour'. It was all I hoped for and more! Tours are $16pp and we choose the 7pm tour and it wasn't concluded until 9ish. Jeff is a local who has a unique perspective on the town, its history, lore, and witches.... More

Jeff certainly knows his stuff about Salem. He goes in depth about the trials and the people involved. So much more information than at the museums. He is also very passionate about Salem and the history. Highly recommended.

Five stars is not enough to rate this tour. Jeff gives an historically accurate and compassionate rendition of what actually fuelled the witch hunts in this quaint little town while pointing out artifacts and architecture. Very informative and enlightening-no hocus-pocus. A must-do if visiting Salem. Even my five year old grandson enjoyed it.

Awesome way to learn a lot about local history-including the witch trials. Jeff gives you perspective on what happened and some idea of why it happened. Tour kept my 11 and 12 year olds engaged and asking questions. Skip all the witch labeled sites and join this tour. Highly recommend

We were on the 7 pm tour on 6/26/14. I won't really say anything here that others haven't said. Jeff is a terrific tour guide. The information encompasses colonial life, architecture, the history of Salem other than the witch trials, ghost stories, and a detailed account of every single thing about the Witch Trials. I left with a ton of... More

I found this place on Trip Advisor and my family thanks you all!!!! Jeff was simply incredible. A born and bred Salemite with a great sense of humor, an encyclopedic knowledge, and a warm, compassionate, clear-eyed and thoughtful take on the history, psychology, meaning and historial impact of the entire Salem witch sage. He laid out the story scene by... More

Recommend that you do this tour first when you come to Salem. Lots of places will tell you the story - but this one is the most informative and the best bang for the buck - and we went to 3 places total (Witch House, Salem Witch Museum) - this one was last unfortunately. Jeff was entertaining, informative, and answered... More

This walking tour is very informative. The man that does the tour is very knowledgeable about the town. I would not recommend this for young children. My 8yr old son was bored.

Real info about history of Salem. So interesting! And Jeff is an awesome tour guide. Best tour we could have done in Salem. A solid two hours, totally worth the money.

Did a day trip to Salem. Jeff was our guide and did a wonderful job. The tour itself only goes around a few blocks in downtown Salem but was a good combination of history, the witch trials, and wiccan culture nowadays (and a few recommendations for restaurants too!) Jeff was born and raised in Salem and was extremely knowledgeable, especially... More
