We try to take some type of trolley or other tour in order to get some history and a general overview of what we want to see in detail depending on time available. This tour starts at the visitor center and makes 2 loops stopping back at the visitor center in the middle. Do not get off until you have... More

Always take this tour when we are in Salem. Take the full tour in the am when they first begin their day. Don't plan on hopping on & off. Tour guides laugh at you and say "we're all full" when you attempt to re-board. Thank GOD we didn't hop off at the Willows!! Won"t do this again!!

I've been to Salem many times, but I have never taken the trolley. I decided to take the trolley this time because my travel companion on this trip was 7 months pregnant and the attractions are kind of spread out in Salem, so I wanted to cut down on some of the walking. It was a relaxing way to explore... More

We had a great experience with this trolley tour. My husband and I recommend riding the whole tour first, to get your bearings of the town. Then it's easy to know what you want to see. It's true most of the highlights are within walking distance and this is what we did. Got our money's just with the narration, didn't... More

This trolley tour was good but they make it feel short. The man was very interesting and new some good facts and it's a nice ride. Don't get me wrong they are very friendly but there wasn't really a spark. For me and my dad it was not worth the 15$ each . I would have been happy around 8$... More

The staff were nice and the trolley was clean but it wasn't what I expected not a lot about the witch trials, it was more like an infomercial

We made the error of getting off at the first stop we wanted to see before taking the entire trip. We ended up re-doing the tour. It is worth it to do the tour and learn first so that the attractions make more sense. Our guide was very knowledgeable. I recommend this tour!

So, if you purchase and load at the visitor's center, you may find yourself back where you started within 20 minutes and wonder what the heck happened. Here is the deal....the 20 minute tour covers downtown Salem....and it goes back to back with the 40 minute tour which covers Pickering Warf, House of Seven Gables, etc. It doesn't explain that... Three of us took this on and off Trolley tour and it was well worth it. First we rode all the way around the tour to see and hear about everything. Then we continued on to where we wanted to get off. Guide told us about the 1600's including witch trials. as well as interesting buildings and the lighthouse and... More
