We thought this would give us a good overall experience before deciding which museums we wanted to go to. The tour guide was informative and funny, but the information given was not what I thought it would be. They barely talked about the witch trials at all which is the information that we were hoping to get. seems like a... More

I enjoy taking Trolley rides in the towns I am visiting. I think it is a fun and easy way to learn about the history and fun stories of the area. This was no different. Our guide was a great speaker and fun guy. However, on the day we visited, there was an early morning class trip which put the... More

The trolley tour lasted about an hour. It was a fun way to see many of the sights around Salem. The tour guides were knowledgeable and knew the history of the area. They were able to provide details regarding the Salem Witch trails and the outcomes.

We decided to take the trolley tour partly because it was a rainy day and with two young kids, we thought it would be easier. We got on to get to the Witch Dungeon Museum and after the trolley left, we were informed that we were on the other longer (40 minutes) route going along the wharf. So we said,... More

The trolley was waiting for us when our ferry arrived. The driver recommended staying on board for the one hour tour. He never stopped long enough to be able to take any pictures as he pointed places out. if you got off anywhere the next pickup was an hour later. Husband couldn't walk very long, so this wasn't very convenient.... More

We were leaving Maine on our way to Boston when we decided to detour to Salem. We didn't have time to actually do anything and never having visited, we thought a trolley tour would be great. BOY WERE WE WRONG! We called prior to arriving to see when the last tour would be and were told it was at 4.... More

Guide was interesting. Did the ferry trolley combo ticket which we felt was a good value. Seats could be a bit more comfortable.

Loved the trolley, because it got us off our feet in the rain, and was also a very informative tour around town. That being said, it stopped running that day (Sunday June 21st) at 4:30, and so we couldn't get dropped off at the Willows and take a trolley back because we were on the trolley too late. Take the... Liked the trip but it was a little confusing with the path. Going one way then returning to the visitor center and then continuing the rest of the trip. It's a little squished but it's expected for a trolley.
