We took this tour the night before Halloween. It was great fun, had some history thrown into the mix and just enough spookiness! The tour guide was very funny and very knowledgeable about local history. The show afterwards made my son regret he was sitting next to me! Lots of good old-fashioned scare techniques mixed in with the historical story-telling.... More

My daughter and I recently visited Salem and saw your show. It was our favorite! If we'd had more time, we would have seen it again. Would recommend it to anyone.

There is not a whole lot to do at night in Salem and since this was a Halloween trip I wanted something fun and theatrical. We saw the main show at 7:15 pm and it was fun! We are in our mid 20's and I get scared easily so this was the right amount of fright and silliness. The actors... More

Went to Tales and Ales here and absolutely loved it! The beer they had was good, even the non beer drinkers in our group liked it. The stories were creepy but the amazing acting skill of Sir Arthur Hennessey made them absolutely terrifying! The only problem we had was that it didn't last longer with more ghost stories! Could have... More

My husband and I went here for the event, Tales and Ales. They had a beer sampling and a performance of scary stories. I had bought tickets for this event almost a month in advance and ended up not being able to make it on the night I had purchased the tickets for. I immediately emailed them and I received... More

Best event in Salem! This show has everything - live theatre performance, special effects, history, and scares. And if you are lucky you may be treated to some pre-show zombie improv! Owner Erik is a comedic genius and Art a master storyteller. I love how this show envelopes you with special effects as you travel through Salem's haunting and storied... More

The show was $12 per ticket after 5. I have been to Salem over a dozen times but never visited Gallows Hill. Based on the high reviews here I decided to give it a try.. mistake. If you're looking for a cute quick show with some startles, check it out. If you're looking for real life history, skip it. We... More

I understand your disappointment with thinking Gallows hill was only about the witch trials, which it is not. We cover witches of mythology as well as ghosts, and all are based on actual legends and events. Just like the Dungeon, we are 22 minutes long to accommodate a show every 30 minutes. I always cringe when the word "cheesy" or... More

While in Salem Ma. We visited Gallows Hill Museum / Theatre. Extremely entertaining. The staff was very friendly and did their very best to guarantee you had an enjoyable but a bit scarey experience keeping with the overall Salem Ma. theme.

Awesome 4d experience in a cozy theater. Interesting perspective on local history and lore. Waiting in line for the show is nothing with the entertainment provided outside. Goofy zombies and spooky characters telling jokes make the time fly!

I visited many attractions in Salem this trip. Most were a big disappointment. But Gallows Hill was awesome! Definitely a must do!
