We booked this tour online after a friend had recommended it to us. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it was by far, our favourite thing to do in Salem. The tour was informative, fun, exciting, amusing, there were some gripping stories but the seriousness of the witch trials was also highlighted/explained to us. Overall, a wonderful tour and one we... More

Despite quite heavy Rain, Me and my Wife had a wonderful time in Salem with Susan and Rich. Susan is very passionate about Salem and her presentation of the history of the city is very interesting - mix of detective story+ghost horror+raw and sad history of witch hunt. It was great, I'm strongly recommending it to everybody!

Sometimes you just get lucky... Salem in mid-winter with snow falling is not the best time of year to find a walking tour... But the folks at Hocus Pocus were not only happy to come out into the cold, they brought foot and hand warmers for me and we stopped for hot cocoa en route to thaw out a while!... More

I booked this tour based on previous TA recommendations, and am certainly glad I did so!! Susan is a FANTASTIC guide, so knowledgeable and passionate about Salem and its history - covered both the witch trials and the history of Salem (with a few sites from the hocus pocus film thrown in too which I loved!). I can't recommend this... More

We wanted to do a tour of Salem and there are many to choose from. We ended up choosing Hocus Pocus. Susan (guide) was very knowledgable and took us around many interesting parts in the city. Any questions you had, she or Rich had the answer to. The price was reasonable as well.

I would recommend this particular tour to anyone looking for a educational tour with a host that will keep you smiling. Susan (Owner) did a terrific job of detailing the history that took place in Salem, MA.

I had one night in mid-Sepember to take a tour and I researched many companies going through the pros and cons of each before I found and took a Hocus Pocus Tour. My evening was a delightful experience. Susan and Rich were very professional; they answered all our questions. Susan's storytelling is superb and she is supported nobly by Rich.... More

The tour guide, Susan, is knowledgeable and passionate about the city of Salem, and that shows in her presentation. She is a fantastic storyteller and knows how to keep you in suspense. The history of the city and the witch trials is presented in a fun and entertaining walk around the area. Had a great time, even the second year... More
