Our expert story tellers are licensed experienced, and play real Salem historical characters. Salem is not your average American town, Nathaniel Hawthorne once called it a “cursed city” famed for its execution of 20 colonists for Witch Craft in 1692. This tour had great hype and I was excited about going on it only to find that it was just another historical tour saying the same old things that you would hear at the Salem Witch Museum and the Witch Dungeon Museum. It was boring and the tour guide was rude. There were times we weren't allowed to take pictures... more

Disclaimer: Do not buy combination tickets for this tour and the 3D haunted house from the Night Tour company. According to the 3D House, they are not authorized to be selling them. Salem Night Tour gave us blue tickets to redeem at the Haunted House, which was very shady. (You could get the tickets anywhere really). The 3D House honored... more

We were so excited to go to Salem and do a night tour on Halloween. There were 6 of us and we went and bought tickets ahead of time online. We went to check in and learned that the group was extremely large. It looked to be about 35+ people. We went to only a few places. What should have... more

First of all, Michael our tour guide was not what we expected. We thought we were getting a scary tour full of ghostly disturbances. What we got was a tour guide that was telling more stories about himself and making stupid jokes. He wasn't making it eerie or anything, The history was good, but overall a waist of $15. more

First, our tour was not led by lantern light, as the ads promised; our guide carried her coffee mug instead of a lantern, which did not provide the ambience we were looking for. But it was 90 minutes of creepy yarns for $15 in October (cheaper other times of year), which is a good bargain by Salem standards. I can't... more

This tour was very Interactive and just a fun time. We won a free drink glass for knowing a fact about giles corey and the tour guide was very knowledgable in history of the city and anything we asked. We went on a Mid week so our group was small. We would definately suggest going mid week to avoid huge... more

I did not see any leading by lantern light, but I did have a wonderful time. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept those who were interested involved. I say that because there was a group of people who had obviously been drinking that eventually wandered off. Know that this is not a tour that you really see very much... more

I think this may have been one of the worst tours I have ever been on. I wish I had checked the reviews first, because the review following mine is exactly the same as what my husband and I experienced. The tour guide had the worst fake British accent, she wasn't interesting or entertaining, and she lacked any knowledge beyond... more
