At sunset, walking thru the memorial, it created a feeling of great awareness of the emotions of the soul as he/she was about to face death. The inscribed quote at the foot drifts off in mid sentence on purpose, giving the reader a sense of abruptness that ended many lives in their prime. Do NOT miss this in the evening. more

This memorial was beautiful and moving. There was a silence and a reverence among the trees and stones that was palpable. My friend and I just stumbled upon this site, but were glad we did.
