I had a great experience with Pantano Riding Stables, the staff were extremely friendly and the horse I rode (Opal) was in excellent condition with well fitting tack. I chose a private 2 hour trail which went through sandy washes where we could trot and lope, and up to a viewpoint amongst the cactii where I was able tk take... More

A great value for only $6 a great wagon ride thru the desert. Games were fun too! The family friendly atmosphere was great also.

I attended a wedding at this location a couple years ago, and it was all around beautiful, and was amazed at how well they accommodated for a wedding. I looked them up to research a little more for a potential upcoming event location, and after reading through the REVIEWS, I noticed that most of the negative REVIEWS included a reply... More

Drove 20 miles to meet at trailhead for 4 hour natl park ride. Pantano didn't show up. When I called I got story about not confirming. This was not mentioned when I booked it. The deal was to meet at the trailhead. The alt was to meet at hacienda del sol. Got there and didn't,t go because that was a... More

Husband and I went for a sunset ride. It went pretty good in the beginning. The entire trail was through a wash so there was wildlife running around but you couldn't really see the mountains. The guides seemed friendly enough. They were younger, early 20s to mid 20s maybe. While walking on the trail my horse and the one in... More

I trailer my horse regularly to the Sahuaro Monument in Tucson. My friend and I were arriving back at our trailer when a wrangler and about 6 people were taking off on a ride. He was a guide from Pantano Stables. The last young girl in the group, who weighed all of 80 lbs., was on a mare that could... More

My daughter received a trail ride as one of her presents for her birthday. I used to ride horses all the time but have not been on one in years. Everyone was very kind and patient. The horses were sweet and my daughter was in heaven. I was too as a matter of fact. Loved this place. I would recommend... More

I'm not much of a horseback rider, but my family did this as a birthday gift for my daughter. She loved it. It was a slow, easy trail ride, with all the horses following the one in front. Unfortunately, I was the last in line and got a face full of dust. Even my horse got annoyed and kept walking... More

Pantano Riding Stables was far from a scenic view. Unless you consider a overpass and bud wiser cans visually pleasing. We paid for a hour and a half and only received an hour! There was no real trail and walked around a small field. DO NOT GO HERE, pay the extra money to go horse back riding somewhere else while... More

I really liked their holiday ride, with ONE big exception. They charged to sit on Santa's lap. SERIOUSLY? I can see charging for a picture, but to say hi to Santa? That is absolutely the greediest thing I think I have ever seen. BEWARE of this, because you can imagine how upset some children might get if you don't bring... More
