Beautiful Frida Kahlo exhibit. The documentary film was terrific although very long. There should have been some printed announcement of the length. We had to see sections of it spread over two visits. The regular exhibits were great fun to see again. The gift shop is outstanding (if a little crowded). More

We recently visited the U of A Museum of Art to check out their permanent collection and a very compelling current exhibit titled The Border Project. I can't say enough good things about this exhibit, which explores many dimensions of the Mexico-Arizona border and immigration. It is a multi-media exhibit including video, interactive displays and hung artworks. It was so... More

There aren't many places where the art is so varied -- from 15th century religious works to Georgia O'Keefe's huge flowers! More

We went to see the current exhibit of 19th century Japanese prints. Beautiful. In addition, the Metropolis exhibit (photos and prints celebrating the beauty of a modern big city) was unique and very well done. The movie, METROPOLIS," plays in an adjoining room! All in all, really interesting! More

This is a tiny museum. There are perhaps 75-100 works on display, most of them small. The collection is good but not worth making a special trip. If you are close by and want to spend 30-40 minutes looking at fine art, I would recommend it. Admission is free but they will gladly accept donations. More
