The TSO often comes to Green Valley, AZ for special performances. They are an accomplished group of professional musicians that adept excellently to other venues than the Tucson Symphony home. They always delight the audience with marvelous compositions.

Lucky to score a ticket to the Jan 14, 2014 performance -- and this was back in Aug 2013. The TSO was under the baton of George Hanson; Itzhak Perlman was the guest artist. A marvelous, marvelous evening! TSO performed selections from Beethoven, Mahler and Berlioz. After a brief intermission, Mr Perlman joined the symphony and performed Beethoven's Concerto in... More

Exceptional musicians, skillfully selected performances, lots of heart and humor when appropriate. Even non-lovers of classical music enjoy it.

We attended the POPs series for a few years but then the shows got repetitive and we cancelled our membership. Will return in the future.

We've been to a half-dozen concerts over the last year...even the ones that we don't come home raving over we always have a good time. Last night's pops concert with 3 Broadway vocalists was superb--TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART and the PHANTOM numbers gave us shivers! Christiane Noll and Rob Evans were outstanding voices, with range, control, dynamics, and expression... More

I have had season tickets here since the eighties, but I think that this current conductor plays too much new stuff, and not enough of the more familiar pieces. Wonderful music hall, good acoustics, nice orchestra, supported by the community. Parking can be a problem and the lots are currently eight dollars, if you can get into one. There are... More

the quality of the TSO is great. I enjoy the concerts so much! I love that they have other concert series around the Tucson area in churches and schools making it so easy to attend a performance. Wonderful guest artists Thank you TSO and Maestro Hanson!

This wonderful regional Orchestra presents really fine classical music in a fairly good listening space, and all at a fair price. If you love classical (or even Pops), try this out.

We have belonged to the TSO since we moved here 7 years ago. We have enjoyed symphonies in New York, San Francisco, and other cities, but TSO is equal to both of those. The more amazing thing is that they perform so many peices within a year. Unlike the larger cities, they don't perform the same concert for a long... More

Am a subscriber for 7 or so years, this is a professional orchestra that works to entertain. A quality music director that is talkative and informative. Good selections, good guests. If you get a chance go see them.
